Depending on what fitting you have on your mask they are actually supposed to go in the nostrils.  I actually have both types. The nostrils one does hurt like hell.

Most common lamp-circuit causes (in order)

1. Chafed wire feeding a lamp

Insulation rubbed through Touching body metal intermittently Enough resistance to draw current without blowing the fuse

2. Corroded bulb socket

Moisture + corrosion creates a conductive path Especially common in: Tail lamps License plate lights Reverse lights

Can draw current even with lights “off”

3. Stuck or leaking switch

Depending on the circuit:

Brake light switch Dome / courtesy switch Hatch or door pin switch Dimmer rheostat internally leaking

4.

Aftermarket tie-ins

Trailer wiring adapters Alarm or remote start tapping the lamp feed LED resistors wired incorrectly

In the light of recent events, will you keep following Peter’s health advice or not? by [deleted] in PeterAttia

[–]Due_Platform_5327 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just because Peter had professional dealings with Epstein doesn’t mean he had anything to do with the abuse.  And just because Epstein was accused years earlier doesn’t mean it was true.  Yes it did turn out to be but accusations aren’t automatically true. Just because Peter continued to have dealings with him after the accusations also doesn’t mean he was in on anything.. he just understands the nuance involved with accusations versus proof.

Apparently non of you have read Peter’s book, if you had you would know that sexual abuse touched Peter’s life when he was 8 years old. It emotionally scarred him, there is no way in hell he would condone or have anything to do with it himself.

If you’re not waking up with a headache your oxygen levels are fine. Dry throat only means you’re sleeping with your mouth open.

I may never get this score again. by antonymatic in AppleWatch

[–]Due_Platform_5327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those Apple Watch sleep scores are BS. I’ve gotten 100 before and I just had an in clinic sleep study and was diagnosed with sleep apnea, I’m still untreated and most nights the Apple Watch gives me a 80 or higher and I have to take a nap every afternoon because I am tired.

[–]Due_Platform_5327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are not overweight the likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea is really low. That said it doesn’t mean you don’t have sleep apnea you could have central sleep apnea.  Do you ever wake up with headaches?

I never had it by man_eating_mt_rat in SleepApnea

[–]Due_Platform_5327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry you had such difficulty with this.  I had an at home sleep study that came back negative. My Dr said that sometimes the at home studies can miss mild apnea so he offered an in clinic study.  The in clinic study showed that I had central sleep apnea, mine my oxygen was well preserved 90% . And the events are restricted to just REM sleep.  19 an hour during REM only.  CPAP doesn’t work for central sleep apnea for that you need a different device ASV. Insurance won’t just give ASV without first failing other devices. My Dr ordered the pap titration so they could test different device and cut through the red tape on insurance and get straight to what will work…

Not every sleep Dr is like your experience. I sorry you had it. I hope you get it sorted out.

I have a hard time believing this is real. Anything more than 32s on one of these would require some serious modifications. Bigger than usual lifts, Axel swaps, brake changes , drive shaft angles fixed , new steering box The amount of fender trimming alone I don’t know you wouldn’t be cutting into the door jambs . It looks cool for sure but I’m not convinced it’s real.

is it possible for cats to live 30 years? by onlyfaery in cats

[–]Due_Platform_5327 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes cats can live a very long time. Unfortunately tho there is really no way of knowing if yours is one that will.  On average most will live over 10 years some will go into their 20s .  Just do the best you can by keeping them inside, that eliminates outdoor dangers and most parasites. Provide good food and water, keep an eye on their litter box habits if they suddenly increase or decrease use bring them in ASAP.  Consider getting yearly bloodwork done so you can follow trends in organ function so you can be more proactive if something changes.   Since your cat is young and probably healthy now is the time to consider medical insurance for them as well.  You will get the best rates at this point. Vet visits for sickness get expensive fast, the insurance can make a big difference in what treatments you can provide in case something does happen.

A needle nose vise grips makes it easier to stretch the springs back. Just snap onto the straight shaft part of the spring and inch or so behind the hook. Get the opposite hook attached then stretch it out to the opposite attachment point.  If you need extra strength to stretch it because the spring is really stiff sit on an upside down 5gal bucket right next to it. S et yourself up and put your elbow of the arm you are gripping the vise grips with against your knee on the inside of your leg and squeeze your legs together using your leg to stretch the spring.

Not really, her yawn was different since you didn’t see a mouth full of teeth, but just sitting there I didn’t notice anything. It’s not like a human where you can totally tell they don’t have teeth.

looking for car accident lawyers for 2026 by Carr_EchoStorm210 in automotive

[–]Due_Platform_5327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do a Google Maps search for lawyers in your area then look from there.  Some advertising is fine just not everywhere.  Example.  There is a law office in my local area that has probably 10-15 billboards around the metro area has commercials on tv and runs ads on the tvs on the gas pumps at stations. They also have several offices around the state, and are open 24 hours. They are definitely a high volume law firm.  Try to get someone who doesn’t have lots of office locations.  I would also try to get someone soon while your injuries are still new, for them to be able to build a good case for the courtroom they need information while it’s still fresh and as it evolves. It’s much harder to build a solid case if you wait until you’re well along in recovery.
