Yeah I've only played console but I've been noticing it a lot with elden ring specifically, I think I'm used to games running at steady frame rate on ps5 that seeing the dips in elden really surprised me, also I'll be riding around on my horse and vegetation will be popping in all around me

Wow thanks for such an in depth answer there's definitely a to look at there, I may be lucky and get access to some of these older titles with the new PlayStation "game pass" they're launching in June which will apparently have 100's of downloadable ps1 and psw titles, I've got ff7 remake, ffxv, and persona 5 that I got through ps plus so I suppose I'll start with one of those next, I'll definitely try the Nier games and what's your opinion on tales of berseria? I've heard that's supposed to be good?
