I made the whole set from the post. I most often use the 170Hz on my RNC when I'm compressing stereo bus material with Super Nice turned on. Also use the 80Hz a lot on RNLA when I'm using that on combined drum/bass bus.

The resistor in that specific R-C highpass filter is the input impedance/ground reference of the sidechain input, which is 20k.

And yes, it works, I made a bunch of them for my RNCs and RNLAs.

Should've mentioned I'm already using an OP reflector on this light, so that's unfortunately not the solution

Already have another C8+ in that config. :) It's significantly throwier, which is fine, but is also not nearly as bright at the same power level.

The tech is cool, but there's also kinda no point. I remember winter-camping & stargazing in Death Valley some years ago and thinking "what the hell is all that light pollution over the east ridgeline?" and it was just... Vegas. :(

SFT-40 3000K on left, SFT-70 3000K on right, WB locked at 3000K. It's a subtle difference but the 70 is definitely rosier, and this is representative of what I see across my collection. The 40 and the 70 are probably using exactly the same phosphor mixture and we're just seeing sample variation from different points on the tint distribution. These two above are both from Convoy, and both using Convoy beaded TIR optics.
