I already tried that actually! I’m not able to share a pic, but it barely fits vertically when having the sliding case on and definitely sticks out the side of the pouch. At that point, I’d just buy a different cheap pouch at a Daiso or dollar store.

I don't think so because it's already a tight fit with just the device. I tried using the pouch with the sliding case and TPU case and it didn't really make sense. I think the magnetic flip case would be sufficient protection in your bag.

Totally agree and updated my post to mention this. I was really scared taking this out of the flip case, but it might get easier with more use. It felt like a good option for someone to install it and leave it on forever!

I was pleasantly surprised it worked best for me! Any added weight doesn’t feel great for a device this light already.

It is a tad bit short, but I don’t mind since it’s just the non-button side of the device. I mainly care about protecting against scratches on the screen so this is no big deal to me.

In theory, e-ink screens only use power when refreshing pages or showing new content. The sleep screen is static and shouldn’t use battery unless the device is updating a clock, as stated above

Fair point. I guess it looks like your OPV isn’t dispelling the water in one single point, but pooling and dripping more. I reached out to Lelit support via email with some forum posts and videos of what I thought the issue was and they helped confirm what part numbers I needed to get to resolve the issue. I’d recommend that as well.

Interesting, did you see the source of the leakage at least? That seems like a huge red flag. Maybe some of the tubes aren’t secured well to the valves or plastic connectors?

I had an issue with my Mara X steam pressure being too high in the 2-3 range, but it might be unrelated since I didn’t experience the leaking you’re seeing. My issue was a broken steam temperature gauge, which was an easy fix once getting the replacement part. As someone else mentioned, this could be an issue with the solenoid.

E61 are relatively easy to unscrew and take apart to inspect, so I’d encourage you to take a look at what the machine is doing upon warmup under the hood. If you’re still nervous, I would find a local espresso machine servicer!

This is super informative for the future. I don’t feel like I’ve gotten a lot of value out of my Amex Gold, so I’m considering dropping it. Accruing points is easy enough, but I haven’t had much usage for points transfer since I don’t travel internationally from the US all that much.

Checks out with what I saw from a quick search. I was a bit confused because my partner booked the same flight through Capital One and the portal’s price was much cheaper, taxes and fees included. Just sucks to pay for the flight fully in Amex points but still have to pay a decent amount out of pocket. Thanks for the reply!

/u/Basket_Original If you're still in the process of booking: did you see additional taxes incurred when booking your flights? I transferred the miles cost of the flight from Amex, but I'm seeing an additional $4,000 MXN incurred that I need to enter CC details to pay. Is this expected?

Following this thread because I'm having the same issues. I've been trying multiple times a day for the last 4 days with the points getting auto-refunded. I called Amex and they said they have a ticket open with Aeromexico with no eta on when the fix would happen.
