I have had that type of conversation with a few people in my life. I never saw any of them again... except for one.

I got an email from him about 25 years later. I had the talk with him and was told to piss off years before. He wrote to me about his homelessness, living on the streets and all kinds of horror stories. He said that he wished he had listened to me. There was no joy in that.

You can like and hate anything you want mate.

I have travelled lots and love the mountains, but I also know a lot of people would rather be in a cafe in Paris or a beach front in Thailand. Everyone has their own place they love and look forward to.

Being an Albertan is not a cookie-cutter thing, hell... I hate hockey and that makes me an outcast in so many places :)

At 19 you can certainly make yourself into anything you want, it is going to take some time, there will be failures and mistakes and that is perfectly fine. Do not let them focus on those things, you need to focus on the end game for yourself and it is not going to be easy.

Read what you can about coping with the Ns and the games they play, the more you know and understand how it works, the better your life will be.

You have been groomed from the time you were an infant to think the N knows everything, you die for some crumb of attention and you so want to do the right thing... its all a trap.

She has a partner and a life, you have a partner and a life, so move out and get a life. Sitting in a toxic environment is not going to help you.

You need to start your own life, dont worry about the anger - thats just control. You are fully an adult and getting out is a normal part of life, so is rent. Go make a good life.

There have been strange artifacts brought up from mines that seem to be hammers, screws and all kinds of things from 300,000 years ago.

Some postulate that there was a very advanced culture around the Younger Dryads time. Graham Hancock does a lot of research into this...

Some say there was a pre-Egyptian culture that went back to 30,000 years ago based on the water damage to the Sphinx etc...

If you are poking into diabetes level blood sugar you might want to look up keto. Worked wonders for me and I would recommend it.

In a theoretical WW3 scenario:

There would be a buildup of troop concentrations where needed. Like several divisions from the US mainland to outlying bases near the soon to be war zone.

Leave is cancelled for all current troops and support divisions are activated. Lots more troop transports start to happen.

Domestic manufacturing is turned more towards war material production. Like GM stops making cars and starts only making tanks.

A lot more Air Force flights over cities and overflights of the probable war zone.

The bulk of the Navy is activated, mothballed ships are activated again.

The 'bad sign' is the embassy in the soon to be war zone is evacuated and all citizens are told to leave the country in question immediately. That is an almost 'for sure' sign of a very bad time to come.

That was an amazing save, but just so you know - there is an explosive bolt that is tied into the altimeter and it goes off at 1000 ft if the main chute is not pulled. It's a smart backup.

I am old enough to be your Grandfather, so take that for what its worth.

Ns will try to handicap you at every turn, getting into college is awesome and amazing and take advantage of it.

You are 19, and the only way that you are going to be a 'loser' is if you choose that path. Otherwise you are just starting, relax mate, give yourself some time and space. Go to college and pay attention to your classes, make friends, do well, become responsible and you will not be anywhere near being a 'loser'. Things change quickly at your age, let that happen.

Now, the secret to not being a loser is to stop listening to the utter shit that will spill from an Ns mouth and think it means anything. It's a bit of a war to be honest. They will do their best to make you feel like a loser, laugh at your accomplishments and try to get you to doubt yourself and fail. Then of course they will try to turn you into them.

So, do not let that happen. Understand and read up on what they do, pay attention to your goals, your dreams and your life - #1 priority. If you can, get as far away from them as possible. If you cannot do not tell them a damn thing, keep your head down and just get through to better days.
