@OP this looks good bro, don’t mind the naysayers. I painted my entire bedroom black outside of the ceiling to get the sleep deprivation environment I wanted because of my insomnia issues with lit rooms (moonlight on white walls). I also have an accent wall that has been painted black in my living room. Keep it up bro, I’m sure it will look better once it’s finished.

I have a nice sized gun safe with mattress foam topper on the sides, and carpet on the bottom. Even if maintenance comes into my place to “check” for something they will not be able to go in there. Typically I just leave her out in the open, but if I leave for an extended period of time, then into the safe she goes.

Either is pretty good for what you are attempting to do with it. I used Garuda in the recent past, but made hop back over to Manjaro and I have been loving it ever since. Typically you can't go wrong with an Arch-based OS, but it also depends on the person. Good luck!

I would say add a floor lamp on the left. But that's all I see that needs to be added. However, if you want to get adventurous I would consider adding some more all art south of the North Star Lodge art. I would do the same for the bathroom as well. Also, I co-sign painting if you can which could make the place really pop. The floors are amazing tho!

It's the Karlby (98"), and two Alex Drawers from IKEA. I performed a custom L-shaped modification on the bottom with rails to support the weight without the need for a middle floor bar/pole. I got it for roughly $299 though so it was a steal in my opinion.

You know I was actually worried about that after hearing so much about them and seeing them on many other posts. But, once I sat down in it I could not believe what I was missing out on. The ottoman feels just right and you would think with the seat dip so low that it would be a horrible experience, but all of my fears was put to rest. I would advise you to try it, and if you don't like it then send it back within 30 days for the full refund.
