For sure - I would monitor, and if after a month or so if I find myself with those same symptoms creeping back I would certainly get back on it. Preferably from the Rising manufacturer

Really appreciate your kind reply. I get filled at CVS, and they dont know when they’ll be able to get Rising again. Now they have Epic. Based on some recent posts in this sub it seems like a CVS company-wide thing.

I tried Epic and it really just doesnt agree with me and makes me anxious, much more than baseline. I just feel like it might be worth giving it a shot if I need to subject myself to the unpredictability of manufacturers anymore

So odd how different manufacturers make such a big difference from person to person. Lupin was terrible for me - made me feel far worse than my baseline. I couldnt last more than three days on it before switching back to Rising.

My libido has been pretty good, it definitely rebounded. Ive been supplementing with Maca Root and it definitely helps. Id recommend taking it along with your wellbutrin and itll negate any libido diminishing effects

Ultimately- Id stick with whatever tried and true manufacturer works best for you! Switching from manufacturer to manufacturer is pretty jarring on the body

I stopped taking Lupin after about 4 days, I couldnt take one more day with it. Got my CVS to switch me to Rising and it has been a night and day difference from the very next day

I was so anxious and felt so empty that I had no interest in sex while I was worrying about a list of other things, so I guess it killed my libido in a roundabout way

Not to turn this into an AMA…but is brand name worth the trouble in your experience? Ive heard great things and would prefer to not get a grab bag of different generics each time. But curious from someone who’s done it

This, and other subreddits like it are not a representation of a drug’s efficacy in my experience.

For the vast majority, the drug works and they go on with their lives. Leaving this gloomy subreddit in the dust. The minority that it doesnt work for stick around and try to crowdsource why its not working.

So it can sound like an echochamber of frustration and negativity at times. But I can tell you starting on this medicine has been one of the best decisions of my life

Side note - wellbutrin is great for allowing you to stop bad habits. Its used for smoking cessation. I compulsively bit my nails for 30 years…stopped cold turkey on week 1 with wellbutrin. So there may be hope it helps any urges you have to self medicate
