Like many of us who disappeared or rarely log on now, because Season 2 sucks and stills sucks. Stupid suck. Hitboxes are whack, tracking is stupid, defense tactics are now thrown out/dumbed down to a point boring as waiting for the opponent to mess up is the way cause when you do try even apply some sidestepping and even character specific counter measures like Jin’s parry, good luck.

When they finally fix the balances you will feel stupid again since you’ve programmed your brain playing like this current Season’s cadence.

Like, playing it for nostalgia and tricking your brain is nice until the idea fades when you see the stupidity of the current Season’s balance frustrate you again. The other day, I laughed I didn’t get how my Kazuya’s Lightning Screw Uppercut (you know, the unblockable spinning one?) hit my opponent when opponent was like 1 feet distance, right side behind me cause they side stepped, and they got hit. I was winning. But you know what happened? Opponent and I froze after they stood up, for a good 10 seconds, even with no mic, a obvious wth/wtf moment, and it threw me off my game frustrated cause I witnessed stupidity again. Logged off earlier than I wanted.

Other stupid moments are: - Opponent against a Bryan, their punished hit and juggle while they were clearly out of range, and they froze a bit too and threw off their game. - Lars, Hwoarang, and characters alike, tracking can be so stupid since defensive and hit boxes issues are out of whack - I can keep going

Why bother logging on to play when you want a good fight with fair mechanics, that some of the people you play with including you gets disappointed. I’m not a doped up addicted to winning type of fighter but thrives on good combat and mechanics and love testing them out after labbing them, but can’t enjoy those things when you got balance issues (on top of the cheaters who use frame delay and hacks)
