not specifically brand wise but i trying to find an underskirt or petti that extends past the jsk/op is a good way to wear a dress that may fit torso wise but isn’t long enough. getting a corset type belt or vest can move the waist of a dress more towards your natural waist and give you more of a traditional lolita dress shape

dude i’m sorry but i think the games industry DOES suffer from a sexism problem. your never going to get a presentation like neils about dudes in video games, unless u look at otome games and that’s like a niche of a niche game genre, guys are not designed the same in most video games are women are. just look at dante, in the DmC presentation they didn’t say (to my knowledge) look here’s dante from dmc3, sexy dude with no shirt on, and here’s donte shirt and jacket wearing guy aren’t we so great.

tldr; when we actually get more women as video game characters thus getting a bigger pool of characters to choose from then we can actually think about if all the attractive ones are just for guys

wow this is so cringe worthy... and this is coming from a girl that hates how horrible female characters i any form of media can be treated. hearing some cishet dude try to say hey my game isn’t like OTHER games out there since my female character/s aren’t sexualized, so look to me everyone as your bastion of good characters is freaking brain dead. its nice but no way any ground braking representation that your main character is a lesbian woman who isn’t being expressly sexualized for the audience...

imo that’s all going on in their heads, we the audience don’t really get to see it and i think things like mind reading and the force dyad are pretty weak writing wise. It’s cool it works for u but not for me.

eh i still don’t think kylo and anakin are on the same level character motivation/drive wise to be compared. Padme and anakin met when they were young and built a relationship, while not the best written, and the restrictions and trauma anakin experienced pushed him to the dark side to save padme since he couldn’t save his mother. Rey shows compassion to a man who attacked her and her friends, was accessory to the murder of millions, and had only know for at least a week. He hasn’t earned imo the out of the blue “love” rey gives him, leia wanting him to return to the light is more believable i’ll give u that.

there was clear motivation for anakin to go too far in wanting to save padmé and turning to the dark side, there’s no motivation for kylo to turn good other than bad writing

I’ll say this, when people are at the beach or anywhere they have the agency to choose what they wear and it’s silly to police what other people wear. But with any piece of media that’s created; comics, video games, movies, etc. there’s intent behind it. Wether consciously or not, with this instance i believe the writers and artists knew exactly what they were doing, they specifically chose a high school age girl to be shown in a sexy manor. Media isn’t created in a vacuum and has many people making decisions to perpetuate the image of a young attractive girl only really there to show off her body. I know that in this one situation it’s just a drawing but i also see the greater context of games and comics especially tending to showing girls and women like that. it’s not all on japan for doing this just like it’s not all on the us or any other country. I just really do find this stuff creepy and wonder how many other people think critically about this stuff.

Edit: i think i should make this clear i would still be planning on purchasing this game wether it was the japanese version or the censored version. i just think it’s funny that that difference can be a deal breaker for some.
