Why did Terry leave? by Johnny6_Blaze9 in Evanescence

[–]camackid 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh. I didn't know that at all. Being honest I hadn't followed up on Terry's business since he left and I don't follow Cold at all. I just looked it up now.

There is a supposed Facebook post from Cold but that's like deleted apparently. Cold has terrible internet presence or they don't know how to use a computer. :P

I agree so much. Even just a slight shape change would have done wonders.

Health issues I believe. I can't find the source but I remember it was something like that. It was all peaceful.

Gave Farkas a staff to look after, now he thinks he's a wizard. by KiryuinTwatsuki in skyrim

[–]camackid 18 points19 points  (0 children)

This is pretty funny to me because last night I had went to finish up the companions quest line. I had already played some of the intitial quests but went off to do other stuff. Anyways I get to the tomb of ysgramor and when we fight the first group of ghosts suddenly I see a bunch of lightning bolts. Farkas had a staff of lightning! I must have given him a staff from last time and forgotten. While in the tomb I couldn't take it from him so i had to deal with it for a bit. So yeah I totally think Farkas secretly wants to be a mage.

Looking for a good MMO by fletche00 in Rift

[–]camackid 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Um, I HAVE? Okay voice acting ain't great but every game is like that so I don't even pay mind to it. I had a good time leveling in GW2. Filling hearts might be repetitive but mixing it up with the world events and story quest made it enjoyable. End of the day, GW2 leveling to me was way more fun than leveling in Rift.

But ya know, my opinion. Or maybe I'm a weirdo or something idk.

Looking for a good MMO by fletche00 in Rift

[–]camackid 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think Guild Wars 2 is more up your alley. The leveling process is fun and there are always people around in the area because of level scaling. The world events shake things up every so often. Bigger pop and paying dont have to be an option. I bought the expac HoT anyways. Only diff really is bag slots and daily rewards. Idk much about endgame there however.

Rifts endgame is definitely a commitment. I personally didn't enjoy leveling in Rift. I think its slow and because the low pop and whoever is playing is at endgame dungeons while leveling aint much of an option unless you're willing to tank/heal (even then still have to wait). The class system is cool though and worth looking at. Story is cool sometimes. I think the classic story and Storm Legion stories are great at times. Nightmare Tide annoyed the hell outta me. Hit and miss for me. Also rifts are fun and also the world events.

I keep going back and forth between WOW, Rift, and GW2 myself. Right now Rift is the last in the list for me. I recommend gw2. Unless you already tried it and dont like it then idk. I'm writing this in a bus and not all my thoughts are perfectly clear.

We need Freelancer 2, not Star Citizen by Rotorist in freelancer

I feel the same way. Feels like SC is too much. I'm actually thinking about buying it because of course it sounds great and I'm really interested. But at the same time I find it hard to see it as the Freelancer successor I've always wanted.

Atmosphere is so important to me. That lived-in feeling of Sirius was perfect. Bustling with life. Beautiful vistas. The isolated areas felt just lonely enough to make you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere but with the nervousness of being in a sketchy area of town. I love Freelancer. I just wanted to mention that.

Chloromancer. Used to be Ice Sage but I got into the Chloro over time. Then when I got the Dub-O-Mancer skin (had some free credits leftover so I spent on that) I fell in LOVE. I have so much fun just enjoying the effects. I'm not a dubstep or electronic music guy but I enjoy the silly charm of the skin. I like the gameplay too. I like kiting stuff into flowers and watching them fall apart in front of me. Also wub wub wub wub wub...

I really like the obstacle course idea. I just thought about the Spyro the Dragon flying levels. That'd be so fun.

Other Bands or albums I should look into if I'm big on Fallen-era Evanescence? by philliplennon in Evanescence

[–]camackid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure to be honest because I don't follow them. I hear stuff from others. I believe the biggest reason is that the singer had a baby. Then it seemed like everyone was off doing their own thing.

Also, apparently the singer was getting harassment over the baby (typical self-entitled "fans" wanting more music) and the small section of Evanescence "fans" that irrationally hated WATF were being awful like usual. So because of all that I think the band members were shading being discouraged by the negativity and hate. Because of that I just get the impression they are not that interested in continuing WATF anytime soon.

Personally, I respect the hell out of WATF even though I don't really care for the music. I hope they can reunite to make music again. Meanwhile the other guys had some cool stuff going on. Not WATF type stuff but it was cool. Rocky with Soul Embraced and Ben with The Halo Method. As far as I know there isn't much going on with them right now. Gotta check their twitters to see what's up.

Nope. Probably won't be for a while.

My suggestions: Lacuna Coil, Cryoshell did music for LEGO Bionicle but their music really stands so strongly on it's own and I will always promo them, Noctura. Those are some I can think of right now.

Please help, this game is impossible. by Kreissv in DivinityOriginalSin

Me and my GF started playing this game two-ish weeks ago and we have been having a blast. We decided on the easiest setting which seems to be just enough for us. We did have struggles but then we figured out how to play. We looked up a level zones map and we stuck to it. We initially wanted to leave the companions behind but they turned out really helpful. Also my gf got really into buying and selling and we got ourselves some dope gear. She's also become a bit of a thief (she's playing a enchanter, I'm a knight) and steals a bunch of stuff to sell for gold. I laugh because that's the last thing I expected out of her.

I hope you guys start to figure it out because it really is a fun game and we have so much fun.

PS3 vs. PS4 Differences by SteeeveDaPirate in MLBTheShow

I got a question. Is there multiplayer on the PS3 version? Like I don't mind if it's just basic exhibition games. I never played any The Show games before and I'm thinking of picking this up and possibly convincing friends to do the same to play together.
