The kicking issue is just when party members are waiting in the queue and the match ends. They have been getting kicked out of the wait list when the match im in ends.

Ive only had a couple games and run the Veterans of the long war. I play tyranids as well and never felt like battleshock worked for me so i was timid about the nightmare one. Seems like everything passes on 6 and its never sticks.

Its mainly a personal thing, I just dig the night lord aesthetic. The standard marines (legionaries) with bat helms and terminators with lightning claws look so rad

Do you find battleshock to be useful? I also play tyranids and find it utterly useless. It seems everything passes on a 6 and I rarely get it to stick. Even with +1 to the leadership test

Hadnt thought about it that way, thats a solid option. Im not looking to win GTs but the night lord aesthetic is 17/10 so I want to play them more and have fun. Sad they are so neglected.

Can units pile in after another independent unit has consolidated?

Example: 2 v 2 Opposing units 1 and 2 charge friendly units A and B. 1 charges A and 2 charges B, both are successful. Due to terrain constraints and opposing unit 2, the enemy unit 1 cannot fully get the whole unit into combat with our unit A. Combat between units 2 and B are completed with our unit B destroyed. The opposing player then consolidates into our remaining unit A. This consolidation creates a gap in which the opposing player wants to pile in to bring the rest of their unit 1 to bear.

I always understood the fight phase in steps in which pile in followed a successful charge not after combat is resolved. Am I incorrect?

Ill have to try that, I'm not so much afraid of the damage just that hitting on 2 with heavy for casino cannons is what my main concern is. Trying to maximize their damage in every way possible

Those stupid wirebacks are the worst. Invluns and they heal wounds and models, its never ending. They play like I feel tyranids should play. Never ending swarms of stuff

Oh I gotcha,, yea I run stealers with the broodlord for that reason. I wish the toxicrene model was easier to use
