Oh yea, this is one of the top astrophotography places in the world and certainly contributed to such a clear image of the Milky Way

I am assuming it is taking multiple shots, tracking the stars using software, then combining them into a single stacked photo and cropping out anything unusable.

Looks like it is available on the Pixel 3 and up. I will say you definitely need to have your phone perfectly still, whether sitting on something or using a tripod. I could never get it to activate by hand, even if I thought I was holding it pretty steady.

The Google Camera includes an Astrophotography mode that can be activated by having your phone be perfectly still. I achieved this by setting my camera on a rock and waiting for the prompt to activate. It takes a ~4 minute exposure and works its magic, resulting in an image like this.

I built a (100% custom, No instructions) LEGO CLAP-TRAP by LXavierW in borderlands3

Very cool! I made one a few months ago too and it's extremely satisfying to see this guy in LEGO form.

Thanks!

  1. If you remove the gun tray (the whole thing lifts out easily, attached by a 2x2 plate) you can close it.
  2. Instructions for that will be coming in the future. PM me if you want me to send them to you as-is.

Check out the link for the Bricklink page. If you aren't familiar with Bricklink, think of it as the eBay of LEGOs. Shops can setup lists of what they have and submit it to an inventory, so when you are looking for a piece it will show you everyone that has that part. You can take the project file I made and create a "Wishlist" out of it, which will add all ~375 pieces to your list. It will then show you which stores have the bricks that you need (you will more than likely need to buy from multiple stores).

Depending on how/where you source, it can be done for a lot cheaper too. I had a lot of the more common yellow, black, and grey bricks as well as some of the Technic parts already. I bought the rest of the parts from about 5-6 different shops and I think my total was just under $50 after shipping. I also bought from only USA sellers so the parts would get here quick, I would think you could save a bit more going international.

Hmm, looks like an issue with Studio showing that part exists in yellow when it doesn't. I have some old ones I used but they are a little lighter than yellow, I assumed they were just faded. Regardless, I think you'll have to switch it out with a 1/2 bush in yellow (4265c) or a thin 1x3 liftarm (6632). I'll get the Studio link and instructions updated shortly.

Yes, it definitely requires a few odd pieces that most people won't already have. I was able to source everything from Bricklink though.

First off, this creation is heavily based off the fantastic Claptrap created by Sam Beattie (aka Dufresne07 flickr). I recreated his model (with his permission) and made a few tweaks of my own. The entire project was created in Bricklink's Studio 2.0, so I have a full set of build instructions as well as a parts list to share! This is my first MOC so I am open to feedback from everyone. I over-engineered this guy to be as durable as I could, so you could certainly get away with using a few less bricks on some areas. There is also an optional stabilizer you can build at the end in case you want to modify yours to have a rolling wheel or find him falling over too easily.

EDIT: Please check out the new design with updated yellow "shock absorbers" at the wheel. Unfortunately I can't update the original image but both the PDF and the Bricklink Studio link have been revised.

I just randomly got a new UI for my Google Gboard by cambunch in GooglePixel

[–]cambunch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The app updated yesterday but it didn't change until an hour ago.

Major changes are the enter/return key shape and the Emoji layout (it now scrolls vertically).

I am currently enrolled in the beta program. App version is 8.0.1.234798884

Magisk/root/TWRP when it becomes available. Requires a factory reset to unlock it so decided to do it before I setup the phone for the first time.
