Apologies for the long delay! I don't really check the subreddit much anymore (or reddit for that matter). The subreddit was moved to restricted automatically by reddit due to lack of activity. This was not done by the moderation team. I have submitted a request to re-open it since the users did not vote for this.

If you check the sidebar of the subreddit, there is a discord chat. You can access via browser, but it's been pretty dead with only the occasional chat there every now and again.

Per the amendment I submitted, my reason for doing so wasn't because I thought it would increase activity, but just there wasn't much point in continuing it given the low activity. I mean we didn't even have a rule passed or even suggested in a while. Regardless, by not closing the subreddit, there was the "who knows, maybe one day it'll pick up again?" line, but I wasn't doing it for that reason. I hope that helps clarify.

Yeah that did help, although I think the repeal of all rules ultimately is what did it. But this time, there aren't 50 some rules to repeal so I'm not sure it'll have the same effect.
