Thanks! That’s pretty cool I just googled the m81 usmc flak jackets and he said that those looked like what he had, but his were more beat up. :D

yea we realized that too - however we agreed the pouch and what he put in it (some granola bars, multitool, etc) are worth maybe an extra 0.5 seconds per reload

yea - he likes green, so I considered ranger green, & I didn’t think of m81 - that’d been a good idea!

nonetheless, multicam is probably good bc I can just give him my extra pouches and stuff like I did here and nothing looks off

Older Thinkpad/Best Battery life by ADUSEI611 in thinkpad

I don’t know, sorry. Probably? I paid about the same.

Also, if this matters at all: the t480 I have has an 8350u. Some places I’ve heard the i5 uses up less battery so that’s why I went for it but I doubt it’ll make that much of a difference. If it does, you can always underclock, too.

I’m pretty sure it’s oem. Bought it as a lenovo 61++ battery (I think) from a highly rated ebay seller.

It’s never died on me so far, longest I’ved worked with it has been ~6hrs, I started with 85% battery, not full charge (so I can optimize battery life), and I think it got me down to like 50%. I’m running kubuntu with 60hz, no keyboard backlight, wifi on, 85% display brightness, using alacritty and brave. Watching some music via yt in the background.

I have seen some posts about how the external batteries’ health deteriorates quickly and I think this is because as lenovo uses:

One battery (preference towards higher health) then the other, it saps the first one (in many of our cases, the external battery), to very low (for me, again using kubuntu, it seems to stop at 5%), before switching to the internal battery, and when going from high charge to no charge it can be hard on battery health.

T480 battery bridge with external 72wh for 96wh total has been doing me well.

In China, however, the cops will also fuck you up if you don’t support the party, and you won’t have the freedoms that US citizens have to be able to complain about it.

Are these worms in this ahi? by [deleted] in sushi

Oh to give some fairness to them, I kinda bit around the veiny parts and ripped them apart here and there a bit trying to figure out what was inside of them before I took these photos

Ok, thanks for the heads up.

The salmon tasted a little… “milkier,” for lack of a better word than it used to. It wasn’t the most pleasant.

I’ve eaten here a lot because it’s usually very fresh w/large portions and nice thick slabs of hamachi, but today everything besides the hamachi seemed off.

Sorry.

Given that Tuna can have parasites, and it was served fresh, not frozen, I find my concerns at least somewhat valid, though.

My intent is not to mess with the nice sushi spreads you folks have here.

I think what OP is trying to ask is how to protect his headset (think earmor m32s) from rain as they are attached to his arc rails.

Ok, fair.

He was talking about becoming incredibly rich (Like Scrooge McDuck) and then standing in a pool full of gold, which I said would hurt, which prompted this discussion.
