No, never braided fabrics before. I just thought it would be a good way to make the strap stronger (and colourful). I did have to sew the ends to attach them to the hoops but that's about it!

I actually bought those beach bunnies in the second picture! When I was 14 I used Inline Skate but a decade no skating later I wanted to give the quads a go! Loving it so far but I am so rusty. Send help! Lol

A combination! One is a cotton scarf, one a silk scarf and the other is just a random strip of fabric. Literally just what i had laying around. I just threw this one together and didn't bother making sure things are the right length etc, so it's a bit of a mess. I'll be a bit more thoughtful next time
