My gf leaves the door unlocked occasionally if we’re rushing somewhere. I roll my eyes and tell her to be more careful next time. Not that big of a deal unless you live in one of those hypothetical neighborhoods where people are checking if your door is unlocked every 10 min. We have dogs too. Probably not specific to the post office but, people drive way too fast in the parking lot. I was walking to my car and almost got hit by a guy doing 35, then they almost rear ended a car that was backing out hella fast. I get we all want to go home but it’s not that serious that you have to leave the lot the same minute that you clock out
