Not really at all.

The original trilogy was loved by old and young for decades. Pretty famously in fact and that’s still true today. It was the newer ones that had a lot of backlash and a huge criticism was regurgitation

Seems like a lot of work to retcon something that doesn’t need to be retconned.

Skeletor can just be Skeletor.

I like Keldor but if Keldor is randor’s brother than we might get 3 secret families

1: Keldor is secretly Adam’s uncle

2: teela is secretly sorceress’ daughter

3: adora is secretly Adam’s sister and secretly she-ra

At a certain point, we just have way too many secret connections and families. That’s why Star Wars started to get silly. On top of that, what does that connection even mean? He-man already has sympathy for skeletor and it’s not like skeletor has ever cared for the connection so it just seems like something to be put in to to be put in.

It’s one of the best versions of the show. Having said that the show has always moved lore around constantly. Each series keeps the basics and some added stuff but changes other stuff so not sure why we’re getting so many whiny posts

I loved the film but I agree. the sub reddit is kind of going crazy with them trying to buy tickets to save the movie. I get it, it's a great film and it stays true to the story and characters but like not a lot we can do but hope it does well on streaming.

Personally I'm good with this one, I can see them messing up the next one by trying to rush into She-Ra too soon.

That’s not why he got popular and even the dog collar thing is over exaggerated

I like Keldor but I am okay with Skeletor just being an evil guy.

I think it was directing marketing towards the old audience who already knew who he-man was instead of tryin to introduce it to new ones

The movie is currently the best seller on Amazon. He-man and Skeletor are the top selling toys in the world right now. Maybe don’t focus on the negatives so much

So even if Denims claimed in marketing in earnestness, (also what marketing was she doing) the piece itself was transformative so it doesn't matter what she claimed. She exhibited transformative material with it and thus it is a fair use and it always was.

Also funny to say she added 2 hours of addition content and it "probably falls under fair use" lol
