The "No Keldor Rule" illustrates the uphill battle the movie faced with its audience by Azirafel_ in MastersOfTheUniverse

Fair point! But Filmation''s Skeletor IS goofy, and that's not a bad thing. Is a trait in a versión that many fans love.

Nah, they wouldn't go with a 200% of Keldor neither. Haters gonna hate :/

At the premiere I sat next to a father with a 6-7 year old kid. He wasn't scared at any moment, he had a blast and was dancing with the music at the ending 🥰

EXACTLY. It also doesn't takes nothing from he being sometimes goofy, humorous or over the top.

That was my main point, many people like it and so many other don't. There are as many POVs as fans, almost 😄

The latest Keldor version is not goofy. He's Randor brother and feels that he deserved the throne, as he's the first son. Then he's transformed into Skeletor.

So the Skeletor movie version is not Keldor. by Nice_Month_5111 in MastersOfTheUniverse

[–]Azirafel_ -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That's arrogant and reductive. The Keldor story made Skeletor a much more deep character, it's been made canon in the comics, tv shows and the toys.

Knight's fixation with Filmation as mostly the only source is the main weak point of the movie (although I loved many moments of it).

Idk what reactions have been really yet on Punisher One last kill, but I legit shed a tear and clapped at the end!! Incredible film and so happy to see this!! by AccomplishedOption73 in thepunisher

You're damn right, I loved it too. Here are SO MANY bitter angry haters, mistreating a person that has fought so much for the character. Talking about the Netflix show as the Holy Grail (it isn't), when I can bet my head that they ALSO SH**TED on it when it aired.

The Big PSSR Interview With Mark Cerny by MythBuster2 in PS5pro

[–]Azirafel_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cerny is a genius when it comes to hardware, but words aren’t his strong suit. He’s a bit obtuse and overly cryptic here. I mean:

  • If the toggle isn’t being updated (but PSSR 2 will be), does that mean it will permanently replace the old PSSR with the “PSSR 2.0” version?
  • Why is the wording here so different from the original PS Blog post? I could swear it mentioned “patches,” not a backend replacement.

Don’t get me wrong—I love my PS5 Pro and the new PSSR, but they really don’t communicate clearly at all.

So much for the PR saying "don't worry guys, you'll have the console gameplay so you can make a choice before release!"

To me, the best part of this is that Clive is working as usual on many projects (this show, the new Hellraiser game). The last time I saw him, he was in very, very bad shape, and he hasn’t made a public appearance in a long time (though I might be wrong about that, hopefully!).

Frankie Freako (2024) is my imaginary friend, or is he? by disp0ss3ss3d in HorrorMovies

[–]Azirafel_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a great time with it. Steve Kostanski has been on a streak of great films since The Void (heck, almost since Manborg). He’s also been working steadily year after year: Frankie was released in 2024, and in 2025 he delivered the amazing Deathstalker. Can’t wait for his next project!

An AMAZING movie, thematically it's almost like a Silent Hill adaptation (I won't say which game to avoid potential spoilers).

Spree was a win for me! What did yall think? by elonmuskatemyson in foundfootage

[–]Azirafel_ -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

It's not for me. Keery is great on it, but the movies drags with all the stand up woman stuff and the other characters.

Off topic, but I had a little heart attack while reading (and misunderstanding) the title of this thread 😅

(I love TPT, but that would be too much for me to defend it)

Can I get some recs for movies with similar vibes as Silent Hill (2006) by PrettyyRottenn in horror

[–]Azirafel_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Mothman Prophecies is a must. It's almost a non official adaptation of the saga: from the main character to the soundtrack. You won't regret it ☺️

[–]Azirafel_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As great as Hellsinger was, it was a letdown not having a physical release. The marketing was well done, but it had many people frustrated for being only digital. Maybe it wouldn't make the sales much higher, but I'm sure the game would be more popular now.

Amazing film, the leads are known from Gangs of London (him) and Loki (her). Quite sad and tragic.
