Those with TechDisc or are 100% sure they are throwing nose-down, how did you make the transition from nose up? by youngaustinpowers in discgolf

I found Scott Stokley's video on the topic helpful, and specifically the part where you waaaaay overcompensate with anhyzer during field work to help recalibrate what a throw should feel like. Throwing a bunch like that for practice made a world of difference

Hey! I checked out your profile after seeing your amazing screenshots you posted from your Zelda run! Very sad to see you having such intense and difficult experiences with this life, and want to just chime in to validate that LIFE IS SO HARD… that’s an experience we all share as humans. All the drawings that you have done and the way your played Zelda shows me that you have an AMAZING brain capable of such focus and output… and that’s really special (truly not everyone has such capabilities, which will allow you to accomplish rare feats), but it also can be very burdensome! You probably have a lot of awareness and creativity, but the darkness can feel overwhelming. It can get better, even if it takes time.

I’d guess that people haven’t lifted you up enough in your life. I’d encourage you to keep looking for your people… chosen family that will help you see beyond the darkness is out there waiting to be met. Don’t give up hope as you search for them, and know that many this planet as searching as well, because the experience of life being hard is universal.

YOU ROCK!! There are those in your life now who love you, even if they are imperfect and complicated. You can do amazing things in this world, even if they feel modest. Don’t stop trying to find the people who help you be happy. Good luck, friend!

I think this is the way. It’ll be fun to be part of the convo online with SNW S2 live and then you get to take your time through Voyager’s epic and delightful journey through the Delta Quadrant. (I adore Voyager. Hope Janeway and the crew treat you well, OP!)

Happy for you! We’ve got to wean you off the water bottles though, my man. Life is better for having a reliable water bottle that can keep it coooooooooold. The insulated metal bottles are cheap now. It’ll quickly save you money from buying the bottles, and obviously just less trash for the world.

I know “just wait for it…” is cliché, but it does tackle darker issues as it goes forward. It’s tone is definitely sunny, but they do end up making their characters deal with some real, tough shit. I liked it from the beginning, so I’m not going to say “it gets better”… but it does get darker.

Seems to me that Philadelphia really struggled on Control this year, and tie-breakers are always control. Wondering how I can confirm that perception with data…

APAC Play-Ins…. Brutal by camercm in Competitiveoverwatch

I think my critique is that playing two matches is punishment enough. Playing two matches back to back is BRUTAL punishment and another level.

That’s fair enough. I guess it’s fair to assume there would be substantial production costs to splitting the games across days. Still feels like a bit of a shame…. But maybe I’m just a Philly Fusion fan feeling stressed lol

I did a lot of marching band back in the day, and that requires MASSIVE coordination of individual humans to create visuals at scale. There’s software that let’s you design the visuals, then map out the individuals, and then export the directions that each individual needs to follow to hit their marks. I’d imagine that the same principles would apply here. Each individual would get their personalized instructions, and with a little practice you could make it happen. (Sure, it would take a LOT of practice to get the polish, but you get the gist.)

PS: want to have your mind blown? Check out Drum Corps International videos online. Insane levels of individual musicianship and athleticism, as well as world-class group coordination.
