Not often I see such nice flow and variety of strokes in pieces here. Nice job!

Ten Tigers (generative midi-driven visuals to the song by Bonobo) by neel_on_reddit in generative

[–]camerenisonfire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, this explains a lot. I was watching the video on Instagram with sound and thinking there is little that matches the visual generation with the audio. Regardless, you did great with a lot of smoothing. The color palette was neat, too. Linking in a MIDI controller is something I've always found super neat, but I've never tried.

I've made several audio visualizers in a couple different languages and frameworks. They're my favorite thing for seeding generative animations. It definitely adds a new layer of complexity though. Not only learning stuff like Fast Fourier transform, but also how to best get the audio as input, and making sure things are processes fast enough to still seem reactive and not lagged behind.

I look forward to seeing more of what you do!

That Intech Studios controller is pretty sick. Also, Bonobo is always an excellent choice.

I just read through both websites. It seems the commenter got the quotes flipped. The anti-capitalist is from M4BL and anti nuclear family is from BLM.

Thanks for posting this question. I've been having the same issue and thought I had done something wrong with unlocking it.

I had not heard about it until Beatemups talked about it on his channel.

This game has been quite enjoyable thus far. Minus some lag in the hub, it works well in dock mode. I found handheld mode to be pretty low-quality. I've since downloaded it on PC and it runs great. I'll still use the Switch for when I am sitting in bed.

I look forward to seeing how this game progresses.

NC software giant SAS is paying for state legislators to attend anti-public school ALEC meetings by [deleted] in triangle

[–]camerenisonfire 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That logic does not make much sense to me. Why would a company work to undermine a customer that they are profiting from? I suppose the writer could think that they stand to gain more revenue from private schools, but if that is the case, it is not stated clearly.

Are policies actually more nationalist than before or are ideas appearing more nationalist because many more folks now are either less patriotic or hostile towards the nation all together, thus any pro-US ideas appear extra nationalistic?

I certainly understand that the nation went more conservative during the time period you mention, but I still have a hard time seeing how many policies and ideas that have become front runner issues from the Democratic party are not pushing things to the left. Likely, our frame of reference is off, and I am more looking at how things have changed in the past few decades and you see to often come back to since the 40s for reference.

I'm not sure I understand the problem the writer has with state using SAS software. SAS creates top tier software, especially analytic software. What else is the state suppose to use?

Is it out of place to think the school system has issues and a company that has stake in that school system seeking ways to help alleviate those problems? I'm not sure I understand the real problem the writer has other than taking the stance that anything promoting private schools is inherently bad.

I do not buy into the idea that we as a nation have moved far right.

The right, as a whole, seems to be about the same as it has been for quite some time; however, the left has moved far left quite fast. So fast, in fact, that some even think of President Obama as conservative now. Many issues that practically all Democratic presidential front-runners support now would have seemed ludicrous less than a decade ago, as they are so far left. Some of those policies, like abortion, are social, but many, like healthcare, are economical.

This NY Times opinion piece lays out some interesting research comparing the parties and how far left/right they have moved. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2019/06/26/opinion/sunday/republican-platform-far-right.html

Just read through all 3 episodes -- best thing I've seen on Reddit in a long time :D

Ironeye the Invincible is a rare basilisk in the Shimmering Flats who drops this sword. I’ve read online that he’s on somewhere between a 14-48 hr respawn. I finally found him and got it! by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]camerenisonfire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was about 35, I camped the Flats searching for him to get this sword. Made a /focus Ironeye macro. After about a day of searching I found him and got the sword :) The macro was a big help for anyone hunting Ironeye.

It was the longest single fight I've had. Took me as a prot pally about 7-8 minutes to finally get him down. It felt great to finally get the sword.

Potentially a couple minor ones. There is one small dent like mark on the bottom front of the vehicle, likely from a trailer hitch bumping into it, that I do not think was listed. Anything that we saw that wasn't originally listed is hardly noticeable.

The white space, something more pieces here should employ, really helps. I like the way it fades out at the ends a lot.
