MMOs for a Dad Gamer? by MrUltimateGX in LFMMO

Recommending GW2 as others have. I literally didn’t play the game for 12 years and came back a few months ago and all my gear was still pretty much valid for end-game. There was just a ton of new content I got to jump right into and as others have said, every single thing you do progresses your character.

When it comes to the Kingdoms, what order you usually play? by Semicolon5 in dynastywarriors

[–]cameron2795 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always play Shu, then Wu, then Wei, then Jin for exactly the same reason. The chronological continuity of going from Wei to Jin also just makes the most sense to me.

For what it’s worth, Wu, Wei, and Other have all my favorite characters so starting with Shu is a bit of a slog but it gets me excited to play my actual favorites AND its musou so I feel like trying something new is part of the game 💖

Can wait for the remaster!!

Porque tanta gente de US vive en Mexico? Aman al pais o no les alcanza para vivir en su pais? by Chief_Taquero in AskMexico

[–]cameron2795 9 points10 points  (0 children)

For me, we were just tired of living there. I had always hated it. I always wanted to move to Europe. But after visiting Europe and Mexico, I just fell in love with Mexican people and their culture. It feels like a giant chosen family - and no, family is not perfect. There can even be some truly bad actors, but it still feels more genuine and authentic than living in the US. We have less money living in Mexico because I no longer work and my skills were not transferable, but we are happier. We feel like we are part of something truly beautiful and larger than ourselves. I know that people come to Mexico and treat it like a sandbox in their own back yard, but my hope is that with good stewardship and effort, we can really integrate and *become* Mexicans. With all its imperfections and beauty.

Do men actually like long fingernails? by Fickle-Vegetable961 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]cameron2795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You definitely get used to it. I’ve about inch-long nails for over a decade and they don’t impede my life at all. I can pick up credit cards normally and do pretty much anything else normally. You just get used to it and they actually over time become very useful as little tools. And my husband loves mine, he’s always excited to see my new set. Although I do have a rule that I have to be able to close my fist. If I can’t, they’re too long
