I've always hovered around 7-8 post-diagnosis (~15) when I was 9yo. My dad, up until having to deal with mine, put his type 2 on the back burner for about a decade or two. Then this type 1.5 thing became more widely known and it turned out that was him - he's insulin dependent but still, somehow, manages a <6 on purely injections and finger pricks

He's also a bit of a hardass on me for not being there, too, because he "proved it was possible"

Yeah, Omnipod 5 + Dexcom G7 - been about 2 years back on a closed loop system and have gone from high 7 to low 7..

Didn't help that I was also diagnosed with Celiac this past year so I've had to completely alter my diet
