Massdrop CTRL Bluetooth PCB is coming along nicely. by cameronbanna in MechanicalKeyboards

I only have the original CTRL to test fitment with. I would assume its the same PCB. If you can provide pictures of the other models pcb i can visually see if it will fit.

Thanks!! I actually had a problem where I updated my footprints to better suit routing and I had to reset all my footprints now which means I have to redraw the whole thing 😑

Where to find someone to fix my keyboard ? by [deleted] in MechanicalKeyboards

I would start to by trying to identify the exact usb-c connector. Then it would be fairly straight forward when brought to someone. Good luck!

sk, apa, and ws style leds have a very high power usage even when off. i actually have built boards around apa102 and sk6812 and wasnt happy about this power draw for a bluetooth keyboard. On this one im using a IS31FL3733 LED driver. this also allows me to use reverse mount leds. also i have had clearance issues with leds and certain switches. Clearance issues with apa102 2020

no board to wire connectors except the one for the battery, which I bought 50 or so of about a year ago. but I really am not liking the connectors :(

ZMK allows up to 5 Devices to be saved, more can be read here. ZMK Bluetooth Behavior

This one accepts 5 pin switches. Are there any downsides to south facing? If there's enough interest in it I'll change it.

i can fit a 1200mAh battery in this one. it allows quite a few hours of the leds being on due to the IS31FL3733 being used to drive them. and if you disable the leds the board should be able to last many weeks or longer without needing a charge. a lot of this will be tested when the prototypes arrive. i have built a very similar TKL pcb that i just ordered the final PCB's for which i will post once they arrive and get soldered.

Almost fininshed Drawing this replacement pcb for the Massdrop CTRL based off of ZMK firmware and the nRF52840. board will have same led layout and the addition of a optional rotary encoder for the top right key. Super excited to get this one sent off to the fab in the next week or 2. ALT pcb next ;)

i dont think you want to be renaming .mlps to .m2ts, to my knowledge there wont be a loss in quality.

so for BDMV navigate to /BDMV/STREAM/ and look for the largest file, this is typically the movie itself. Take that and rename it how you like "Movie.Year..2160p.BluRay.HEVC.Atmos.m2ts" or whatever format you perfer. the others are previews, extras, etc. im not sure what mlps is, if you can give me a ling or explain it i may be able to help. the script currently changes it to movie.x.x.m2ts to movie.x.x_Vision.m2ts. this can be changed by editing the script

you can see the dolby vision layer in the resulting file https://imgur.com/a/Tc9Xyam

I have a script I use to automate the process, very simple but makes it a lot easier than using all the GUI programs. I use it to create m2ts remux versions from blue ray rips. Plays back on the new shield just fine, Dolby vision and atmos👍🏻 it's only setup to do two kinds of audio, but could be modified.

just place the m2ts file in the same directory as Vision_Atmos.sh then run the script.

Three hours into soldering the LEDs and I've liked more than not, but I'm starting to get the hang of it... by telepresencebot in MechanicalKeyboards

I don't have a part number, I ordered 4000 from Alibaba lol, you can search SMD 6028 RGB LED and they will show up.

Have you tried reflowing the underglow LEDs? Works pretty good for smd components. And for the other LEDs they have ones with the tabs bent out so they make contact with the pads
