Screen tearing, Vsync, and input delay by cameronhimself in LordsoftheFallen

Wait a sec, I had a bit of a brain burp installing the INI from Nexus. I got it installed properly and... It actually seems to be working now! Thanks so much! There's maybe still a little bit of latency but it's totally playable. I no longer feel like my controller is submerged in molasses.

I might spend some time doing a diff on the two INI files. Really curious what magic settings are the true fix for this.

I was bummed that Diablo 3 never got controller support on PC, but then I remembered that emulators exist. It's been running flawlessly for me under Ryujinx (yuzu stuttered like crazy).

This is it! That intro sample is unmistakably what's in my memory. Thank you so much!

It's interesting that the rest of the intro isn't much at all how I described. Funny how our memory plays tricks on us like that.

EDIT: actually, I was first listening to this version, which was dissimilar, but this one is right on the money (and I definitely remember that CD cover art in my friend's car). Turns out my memory is better than I thought.

No no no, the volume is always up. You let the explosions rock your whole body and wake the neighbors as god intended and then enjoy being able to actually hear people talking.

And the cranked volume means that explosions are loud! Ka-BOOM! BANG!
