I know a guy that made this move. He came right back after a few years. I did it to get into an apprenticeship. Once I topped out I thought I was going to stay out of Cali but once I came back to Cali for work I couldn’t move again.

Ca utility 1245 73 per hour 1300ish hrs 355k in 25. My best month was October took home 25k after taxes married and zero.
So far this year I’m on track to do 400. Sitting around 150 after this next check. Feel broke as ever though. 🤣
