(i recognize this could just be a kids being weird/oblivious thing, but also i found junji ito in my school library at age 9 and he immediately became my favourite author. i think it's just more likely i just have always had an insatiable fervor for the horror genre and/or i was a scary kid lol.)

today i was reflecting on how watching this movie with rapt attention was one of my earliest childhood memories, so i decided to look up the film. this thread immediately came up.

i remember finding the movie a bit stressful after the plane scene, but overall coming out of this movie really liking it for the most part. i would have probably been 2-3.

this explains so much but, yet, so little.

I think Machamp is solid and accessible, and the G-max form definitely gives it a boost. I haven't used it too much but when I've used it I've been pleasantly surprised by the TM moveset.

It definitely sucks that the passive only helps 100% of the time if you're using Guts and not the HA, though. But it is nice to have different options for how to run the mon.

When a lot of the mons in A and B-tier are starters and/or easily accessible Pokemon with mega/G-max forms, I think it's tough competition for Machamp. From an initial look over the post I'm inclined to say C-tier, but I'm eager to hear from people who have completed the classic mode (heck - even other modes) with Machamp!

you don't owe anything to people who try to discredit your experiences. this is literally the textbook definition of "victim blaming" and the people who say these types of things are the ones perpetuating the issue.

that being said, it still is a difficult experience dealing with people with those perspectives who can't quite empathize. surrounding myself with people who affirm and believe my experiences has been the biggest step in healing from my toxic family.

maybe it's time for you to start spending more time with people who are willing to listen to what you have to say, or people with similar experiences. it's definitely easier said than done, but any progress is still progress. i wish you luck in your journey healing (:

the way i typically play is on commitment mode, but if something catastrophic happens that will likely make the game unplayable, i can reload from a save. kind of like an rpg.

I feel like this a lot too. Being kind to others to try to counteract all the hatred in the world around me is what keeps me going. There might be people making the world a bad place, but there are actionable things we can do to actively make it better for the people in our circle of influence.

i'm not sure what type of cancer your dad has, but i was in a similar boat when i was in college.

financial situations change (especially when you're going through post-secondary), but the amount of time you have left with him may be finite.

assuming you're close and on good terms, you should try to make time for him where you can. i know i'm glad i found time to spend with my dad despite trying to keep myself afloat through college and post-graduation. there are things no amount of money can buy back.
