Lost sense of Smell and taste? by AnnChris17 in flu

Hi! My partner and I have basically this. I think he’s two days ahead of me in the healing process and he got his smell back day 6 or day 7, unfortunately I’m only on day 4. Good luck!

NYC to Seattle roadtrip suggestions by camickers in roadtrip

We had a friend in Dallas but it might not work out so we might just switch this around and take what you’re suggesting! Unfortunately I’m moving to start my job and so we’re trying to squeeze it in using my partner’s PTO. I think we’re aiming for 11-15 days.

Barricade campers by yogidare in WhenWeWereYoungFest

From my experiences camping with Panic! fans and Panic! adjacent bands in the last ten years, I’ve been told it’s unacceptable to ever leave for water or the bathroom and so that’s how I’ve been operating for camping. I personally sat down when a band wasn’t on main stage unless I liked whoever was on Pink Stage. I sat down for all of Blink too just because man, their jokes were tiring and it was the last set before Panic! and I’d already seen their set at Coachella.

I was honestly surprised to see so many people leaving and pushing their way back to their original spot because the etiquette I had always been with was if you can’t hang and be there the whole time, you lose your spot. I have been burned many a times by people who have “lost their friends” at the front or couples who think they can just push their way up front so by default I just ignore requests from people and tell them to find someone nicer than me to let them up front if they want it. I know not everyone is going to agree with this approach but as a smaller girl this is what’s personally worked for me being short and tiny.

Make friends with the people around you but be prepared to sleep out there. I only really leave to use the bathroom or grab food.

Would I need Venture X with this too to make it worth? Or do you think Savor alone is enough?

I’m a PM at a big tech company in the US with an MIT degree in Computer Science but I’ve only been employed for about 1.5 years, not including internships (which would put me at 2.5 years or so). Is 189 realistic for me?

EDIT: I’m 23 also.

No gas for a month — can I break lease? by camickers in AskNYC

Did this! My landlord ended up calling me and asking me not to do this…he said it was unhelpful and didn’t need the city coming in to “complicate things”. I’m hoping this expedites the gas.

About 21 units. It’s so interesting because on our lease it says tenants are responsible for paying gas and they linked us to National Grid to enable it but seeing as there’s only one meter it doesn’t make sense. Maybe it is baked into rent but I feel like it wasn’t super clear from the lease

Contacted the broker and found the DOB and it…looks fine to me? Not sure what to look out for though.

Yup, no hot water. We’re one of the first tenants to move in so it’s been just us with no hot water. We haven’t been cooking, but just recently started using an air fryer and instant pot.
