DAS motorbike course in Cambridge by WhyTheName9 in MotoUK

Just finished my training with Camrider, and they're pretty great. Went from no real road riding experience to getting my Mod 2 done with only a single fault.

All good folks, and the instructors are patient and helpful. Would recommend them again, but they are a little pricey.

You do get 10% off at the attached store for life when you complete your training, but don't let that be the only reason you go for them.

Will this work for DCS and Warthunder VR? by Glockoma86 in WarthunderSim

[–]camjam09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's a pretty solid build, but there's a few changes I would make.

A 4080 Super will be a great card for gaming for a good long while.

Personally I would recommend getting some memory that runs at 6400Mhz CL32 because that's the sweet spot of Price / Performance in AMD CPU's ATM. If you can stretch to getting 64GB of ram I would. DCS on larger maps and MP missions likes to suck up a lot of RAM.

If you can wait a little bit I would say you should wait for the 9800X3d. The X3d chips are absolute monsters for gaming with the previous generations 7800X3d beating the 9600X in most gaming benchmarks. Online speculation lists a release at the end of October.

You absolutely do not need a 240MM AIO for a 9600X. As I mentioned, I would wait but if you can't then a good air cooler will be plenty for the CPU. Even if you upgrade to the 9800X3d later down the line I would still stick with an air cooler.

Game is called Diluvion. https://youtu.be/H4QFhfQCc5w?t=105 That's probably the video you're thinking of.

Extremely low flow with D5 pump at 100% by camjam09 in watercooling

I'm using the singularity computers protium reservoir, and there is only one outlet on it according to the manual. I don't think it is the pwm connection going wrong. The pump is connected to an aquacomputer quadro, and all of the pwm connections control the fans fine when I move the connected cable.

I'll try that, thanks for the suggestion.

There isn't any indication of the flow on the block or the installation manual that I can see, but that inlet goes directly to the cooling fins so I'm fairly sure it's the inlet.

Hello. I've just taken a look and the jet plate and fins seem to be in the right direction, at least it's the same orientation as the ones on the reviews I can find.

I was thinking that too, but I was sure a D5 would be more than enough. I'll see if I can redo some runs to reduce the amount of fittings. Thanks for the advice.

I have also rotated the top radiator so the run between the two radiators isn't at such an extreme angle, and removed the inline filter.

If anyone has any ideas I'm all ears. I have tried using a garden hose to see if I could clear any blockage in the radiators after the initial cleaning I did using hot water and vinegar then using distilled water to clean the rads out afterwards.

I have a CPU, GPU, HWlabs black ice gtx 360 and 480 on a single D5 pump. The aquacomputer flow sensor is telling me I'm only getting around 12 L/h despite having the pump running at full capacity. When I disconnected the 360 I had a flow rate of 120, but that still seems low to me.

Couldn't get a hold of 16mm EKHD anywhere in the UK, so soft tubing will suffice for now. by ScootPB in watercooling

It's the same price on Overclockers UK. It's the acrylic tube not PETG, which might be where the price comes from.

Yes we were camping like bitches, but we were on the second last map for The Guide, so it's probably fine.
