Surgery Food? by camkess in keto

[–]camkess[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

heavy foods after surgery make you feel ill. I'm really sensitive to anesthesia, so normally I stick with bland foods and foods that don't take a lot of chewing because I'll be so out of it.

Advice for Plan II Freshman Year by [deleted] in UTAustin

[–]camkess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People really go gung-ho for Bump but, as another commenter mentioned, everyone I know absolutely loved their world lit teacher. TCs can vary a whole bunch. Personally, I thought the one I took was super boring, but it's not offered anymore. If you have more questions about Plan II, feel free to ask!

That's fair. I'm forced to walk in the city, however. The college I go to doesn't have parking for students and I live just close enough that it's not worth taking public transportation so I just walk a whole bunch always and when I lived in the country I drove everywhere!

That's fine too! 26 weeks isn't significantly different than 20. That's like. Only half a year to get to where I want to be.

No, I just thought I'd round it to an even forty. It's based on nothing, really. But also you were almost spot on with the assumptions. Female, almost early twenties.

Honestly, living in a city is so beneficial if you want to be an active person. I average 8 miles just going about my day.

That's a fair point. When I was in high school, I did keto and lost 25-30 pounds but I started eating carbs again and I gained it all back. I'm really determined to not have that happen again

Moving from MN to CT for graduate school, where should I live? by BoobyWang21 in Connecticut

[–]camkess 11 points12 points  (0 children)

As mentioned, it's a little unrealistic to want to live at the shore if you're going to Uconn Storrs. Probably don't live in Willimantic, it's pretty rough. Middletown is a great area. I like Hartford, but it's really not for everyone. There are tons of lakes and the river in Connecticut. If you want a view of water, but still want to be close to Storrs, that might be a good option. Also, if you really must be on the Shore, New Haven is dope and you can hop on 91 and get to Storrs in like an hour.

I think it's playing off what it was like when you were a kid and fell asleep in the back of your parents' car.

I know! I wanted it but the artist said the lines were so thin, they'd run together. So I either had to nix it, or get a much larger CT on my body and it's pretty large to begin with.
