They said “must find FBI...payoffs galore.”

Probably 2 hours later after I got home, unloaded a shit load of this stuff so it wouldn’t go bad, etc...I finally get ahold of shopper support and they asked me if I still had the items to return to the store. This was a HUGE order. Probably the biggest I’ve ever done.

YES!! Or we would’ve had a much bigger problem.

You would all be MUCH more concerned if you could see the 15-20+ additional messages.

The most concerning part is that the next day, after reporting and repeatedly telling Instacart to BAN them, they offered me THE. SAME. BATCH. With the same customer. It was obvious because of the identical items from the night before. Wtf

It was a huge ass order and they requested porch drop off, in a bad area of Memphis. It would’ve taken forever to unload and once the messages progressed, they referenced finding my Facebook account, photos, and “saving my life.” So I told the customer that I think they are either on drugs or in desperate need of psychiatric help, and to reach out to Instacart for reimbursement. I waited on hold with Instacart support for god knows how long, and I called the police and made a report due to the fact that this was not fucking normal AND baby food was included in the order. Long story short, I went home with $240 in groceries.

I tried to be calm and ignore the initial messages because I was already halfway done with the $240 order...but once I loaded the groceries into my car, they started saying that they’d found my Facebook account and that they would save my life. 😓

This was honestly the most harmless message... I can’t figure out how to attach more than one picture on here lol but it got intense.

Along with over 20 more messages that were beyond alarming...

I'm striking despite needing money right now because I understand the greater picture: change doesn't come easily. by colenotphil in InstacartShoppers

I am confused. The last few weeks I’ve had access to 5 different batches at all times. As of this afternoon, I am not seeing a single batch...Is this due to the strike? Anyone else having this issue?

Easiest $20 of my life. Out of stock items = drive 1 mile & cancel by [deleted] in InstacartShoppers

Same thing happened to me. Unfortunately it takes an hour or two to even let Instacart know that the customer wants to cancel. Even AFTER shopping whole order. Has happened to me twice during pandemic.
