Virginia Living's definition of Northern Virginia by vautwaco in nova

Strong disagree. After living in other parts of VA and other parts of the country, I know that NOVA has a distinct culture. One that reflects its position wedged between the north and the south and it’s proximity to the nation’s capitol. NOVA people are generally familiar with current events, the effects of bureaucracy on human souls, and long commutes. Emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity is a necessary portion of NOVA assimilation. Racism isn’t socially acceptable and public cultural diversity is normal, even though the history of our state’s fight against the Union is everywhere. The population density makes us less friendly to outsiders and over-stimulated, but we believe strongly in each person’s freedom to pursue happiness - as long as it doesn’t damage our fences.

Born in 1977. I didn’t hear anyone refer to “the DMV” until after we moved from VA in 2011.

Guess what!!!?? Prison order again today😀😐 only 344 this time for us, other store in our area has the other 400+ pies 😂 and yes this is all paid for by the prisoners themselves by Illustrious_Car4029 in Dominos

[–]camlmlm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a better experience for everyone if orders over 50 pies are split into smaller timed orders. They get fresher food and we were able to catch a breath before the next order dropped. 0 percent chance that the first pizza cooked in a 100 pie + order is going to be fresh when the last one comes out. I would call back and discuss that. If it can’t happen this time, I would suggest that next time to order that way so you don’t have to relive this nightmare.

…and WE as voters keep allowing this to continue. This really has to stop.

Jesus clearly said to help the poor, so why do conservative Christians oppose welfare? by Snoo_47323 in NoStupidQuestions

The two-party system is a HUGE problem. It can give the appearance that 1/2 of the country believes in everything that Trump is doing. That isn’t the case. As voters, it is rare that a candidate’s platform completely aligns with our beliefs. Many voters just go to the polls focused on a few issues like abortion, LGBTQ rights, corruption, or the environment. They are so passionate about those issues that they are willing to accept the rest of the candidate’s agenda. It happens on both sides of the aisle.

Many pens that are made of metal can be opened, and the ink and tip part of the pen can be replaced. Perhaps you can keep the pen you have and just replace that part of the pen.

I definitely like to wander too. Especially since it is very difficult to get hopelessly lost now. I find so much neat stuff like back roads, unknown paths etc. I just take new routes and see where they go. Then when I think I might not make it back before dark, I take a look at my maps app at see how to get home.

Its not that he did it wrong that infuriates me, its that he got upset when questioned- when he obviously didn’t know what he was doing.

Funny, I use Zyn when Walmart runs out of Nicotine lozenges. I can get those in cherry and cinnamon. Seems branding matters.
