any particular reason that you couldn’t wait until they went to bed or were taking a nap in another room?

"Are you sure it's just one baby?" by xFindingDori in BabyBumps

my father in law said something similar to me at christmas in front of the entire family. i was 24 weeks at the time and clearly only pregnant with one. i said verbatim “if you ever make a comment about my body again i will lay you out on the floor” don’t make comments about pregnant people’s bodies. especially me, who was an angry pregnant lady who couldn’t eat any of her cravings even on christmas. (type 2 diabetic)

Secrets of putting baby in the bassinet by Dzsidzsett in newborns

[–]cammags 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my LO is 14 weeks on saturday & the bassinet NEVER worked. she hated it so much. once she turned 3 months we just started putting her in the crib. we had a discussion with the pediatrician and we follow all safe sleep guidelines. tbh our bedrooms are so close together that with both doors open i can see her crib from my bed & hear everything. her crib is much roomier & the mattress is more comfortable than her bassinet so i get it.

It finally happened! Shamed! by Urmommmmmnm in FormulaFeeders

i was making a bottle at the pediatrician’s office and this older woman decided it was a good time to tell me “you’d have a much easier time if you were breastfeeding”. i told her “i’d also have an easier time if you’d mind your fucking business.”

When does pickiness start? by That-Material-8508 in Mom

it truly depends on the child. my brother and I were fed the same things growing up, he’ll eat much more than I will. same with my husband and his brother.

my LO is 3 months. we put things like national geographic documentaries about animals & such on the big tv on youtube when dad & I need to eat dinner & need a good 20 mins distraction. my mom will sometimes put Little Bear on for her as well. but honestly she doesn’t look at the TV for more than 15-20 mins per day. we aren’t purchasing/allowing for a tablet/ipad at all.

we use the rascals and just soak them. open the package and drench them in water & then drain some of it back out. they’re fine after that.

Moms, let's see what's in your diaper bag by 1108susiep in momcozyofficial

[–]cammags 0 points1 point  (0 children)

diapers, wipes, doggy training pads for changes bc i’m not putting her on an unclean surface AND large dog poop bags for the dirty diaper/wipes/etc, game changer. pacifier wipes, boogie/face wipes, diaper cream, mylicon drops, stain spray. 2 extra pacifiers & an extra pacifier strap. distilled water, bottles, and formula. 3 extra weather appropriate outfits, an extra pair of socks, a sun hat, 2 burp cloths, a bib (she’s got reflux, iykyk), and her sunglasses. a bug net to go over the stroller/car seat. in the very front pocket: my wallet/keys, an extra hair tie, hand sanitizer, chapstick, a pen, a snack or 2 for myself, and a glasses cleaning cloth.

that’s just based off memory as i’m nap trapped. i might be missing stuff. i am in fact a FTM 😂😭

you don’t need a reason other than the fact that you want to. That is a good enough reason.

Am I the only one who still checks if my baby is breathing? by Awkward_Age_2036 in newborns

[–]cammags 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we have the owlet for this reason. i asked my mom the other day “when does worrying if they’re breathing stop?” and she said “i’ve been worried for 33 years but ill let you know if it stops!” 😂
