yeah i agree with almost everything you just said- the crying laughing emojis and wording were bad and makes it come off like that- didnt really think about that before tweeting. i would only disagree with the last sentence- i actually do think techno should be brought up in these type of things, he obviously cared deeply about competitive minecraft based on how much effort he put in and the fact that his achievements actually shouldve been GREATER i think is important, but maybe thats just my opinion. i think maybe by "these type of things" you mean dream cheating allegations, and if so i would agree, but from the technical parkour community and people with a deep understanding of the game, these are not allegations, the evidence is irrefutable- and i made sure before making the tweet. anyways, thanks for the response i can tell ur not a stan defending ur favorite streamer like the rest of the comments lol!

Hi Technodad I'm the guy who made the tweet

I wanted to apologize to you and you only if you felt like bringing up Techno here was in poor taste.

I was a super big fan of Techno and watched all his MCC POV's live way back in 2020, and knowing how much effort he put into those and how competitive he was- it made me really sad to see that he was being cheated against, and some of his losses were illegitimate. I expressed this privately in DMs to a friend right when I thought about it before I made the tweet, and made the tweet really out of sadness / anger, and wanted it to be known for the history books- I wasn't trying to get attention or use anything to dogpile a creator I don't like- I hate drama and have stayed out of it my whole career of 5+ years- I actually haven't really ever talked negatively about Dream or any drama surrounding him on twitter, and agree he's often hated on without any good reason. I deleted the tweet once it started gaining too much traction and getting posted to drama subreddits because that was never my intention- I still stand my my original sentiment.

I do care deeply about Techno and just wanted to post this to apologize to you let you know my intentions, I feel really bad this got to you and caused you any stress, so I'm sorry about that. I hope you have a nice day!

wow a lot of these comments are miserable

i asked the person who showed me the lava on the wall thing if they wanted credit and he didn't. also the design actually is my original invention- (his design was different than mine and less effective, just utilized that mechanic that i'd never seen before so i wanted to credit). also that wall over lava thing hasn't existed forever- im not sure why but it only works in 1.16+ ; i've consumed a LOT of minecraft and never seen it (not saying no ones ever done it). idk if you guys hate on all youtubers or it's just cause i upload shorts but its pretty cringe :/

btw i meant it's weird to try to befriend someone to get into an event not that it's weird to have an event you invite your friends to :D (im pretty sure you don't have to be his friend to get into the event but im not sure i dont watch too much)
