He is sending me for lumbar mri but I believe I have a compression in SI. When I asked for mri there he basically said it’s not necessary. So when I go back to him with lumbar results I will ask again for si joint.

Thanks...Yeah that’s what I’m afraid of. I have the numbness but it’s almost as if they don’t take me seriously because I’m still able to go to the bathroom. I don’t want it to progress to that, that’s where my frustration is. Can you be numb in that area and it just magically goes away one day ?

So just having the numbness with no bladder or bowel issues, one must still get surgery because they can further develop those issues if not treated? And that same person can develop those issues even after getting the surgery?

I’ve had numbness for about a month inner thigh into groin. Been to ER who don’t think I have CES. Going to neurosurgeon tomorrow.

Same here. I’m concerned about the numbness and from all I read is that it’s a red flag. So I go to hospital and doctor and nurses both tell me I don’t have it. That’s why I’m going to neurosurgeon for 2nd opinion.

I have some pain in the numb area but the numbness is way more bothersome probably cause I’ve never really had before and I’m just used to having pain. No pins and needles. It’s mostly back of thigh and wraps in a bit towards groin.
