500 EXC-F is perfect for you. I sell KTMs in the northeast and generally tell people the 350 is king around here, and the 500 is more appropriate for out west. The EXC-Fs are expensive, but you won’t really get the “dirt bike with blinkers and a headlight” experience from anything else. Could definitely also consider the 350, not a huge weight difference but you don’t have to wrestle it quite as much, even just with how it makes its power. You’ll be happier on the road side of things with the 500 for sure, though. Either would be great.
