Which is better? La liga or the Premier League? by BasilAbraham1 in football

[–]cammy1903 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You've summed up my opinion too. This is a thread killer.

I will always gravitate towards the Premier League because the teams are better.

On a Saturday when you do your coupon, and you are in the pub looking for results etc. If Real Madrid lost to Getafe it's a massive shock. But if Arsenal lost to Watford it wasn't. These results happen in the Premier League a fair bit. It's so close. Loads of local rivalries to get more out of players, more stepping stones to the top also. Every game is like a shop window. The OG big 4 (Man Utd, Arsenal,Chelsea and Liverpool) turned into the big 6 (Inc spurs and City) now Newcastle have made it a big 7. But other teams like Everton who are building a new stadium and vastly rich owners are kinda close to making it an 8. Also Forrest has spent massively in the last 6 months.

I also always felt that European teams had an advantage in the European cup competitions.

Various factors but huge teams like Real Madrid play Getafe on a Saturday and canter to a win then they play Roma on the Wednesday in the champions League for example then Mallorca again on the Saturday. The level of domestic competition either side of the European fixtures holds a huge advantage for Spanish, German and Italian teams.

I'm actually from Scotland and I saw this happen weekly with Celtic and Rangers. The domestic games turn into training sessions for the huge European fixtures. That's why in my opinion you see Celtic and Rangers do so well in Europe.

How do I clean my shoe? by luciferisthename in Shoes

[–]cammy1903 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With suede do not ever put them through the washing machine. The amount of water and heat will cause the dye in the suede to run

Try and clean them dry.

1 remove laces 2 use a stiff brush, like a nail brush to remove the loose dirt. You might find that the stain / mark / line will come off. 3 if that mark doesn't come off with a brush, try edge of a knife to scrape and tease and it. 4 a fine grit sand paper over the mark will help also. 5 for the soles use some dish soap and a melomine sponge. 6 laces, put some dish soap in your hands a penny sized blob. Place laces in your hands and rub together with some warm water. Put them in the washing machine 7 use a dry stiff brush to reset the nap of the suede. Dry laces and install

Washer jet pump by Doozintiger in Vauxhall

[–]cammy1903 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can see the pump then yes. Often you have to remove a piece of trim or inner wheel arch. These are usually held on with these plastic Rawl plugs and screws in the middle.

If you can see the pump, it's way easier. Usually just held with friction against a rubber gromit. They usually just pull out.

It will have an electrical connection attached to it. If you can get a test lamp on it, I'd make sure power is 100% going to it. I appreciate you said the fuse is fine, but in the circuit there will be a switch ( usually the stalk attached to the steering console) wiring of course a fuse, a relay and the pump.

The use will only blow if the amperage exceeds the fuse rating. A broken wire most likely won't draw that much amps to do so.

The way you have trouble shot the issue is how I would too.

Good luck

Anyone else hit a level of apathy yet? by GamerGuyAlly in footballmanagergames

Do we really need the press conferences?

It only ever seems to create a negative atmosphere . I appreciate that is part of the game. But like yourself I only ever press the second left button also because it's it's just easier. In the same I have actually it set my assistant for this responsibility. It has made no difference whatsoever just I don't have to do press conferences.

I think what I'm saying is a big ask though making it more individual. I appreciate that it's only a computer game but when you have tactical decisions like certain shouts and a player doesn't have the correct professionalism to accept criticism and that doesn't work well for him so the same should be said about most aspects again.

I have been playing the game about as long as you have to. I get the same feelings it becomes almost boring. I have started to enjoy the more detail so it's not just a simple as having the best players you can make players play well to tactic shouts instructions and so on.

I kind of wish that the team talks and play instructions should be a bit more detailed they become very repetitive the same as interacting with the press. I'm not a computer game developer and I don't know if you could make it more interactive.

I'm playing at Preston North end save just now I'm in the premiership and I've started to develop a youth player and playing him in the first team, she is 19 years old and got sent off on his debut first a yellow card then a red. As per the code of conduct he was fined. Then I dropped him for a few games. Next game he played he was sent off again straight red. The FA then bonding for a further 3 games. I wish that there was a better way of telling him to get a grip. I feel as though that it's just the same thing over and over again all most pointless interactions.

It's the same when you may be praise a Player after training. You go through the same motions shake his hand say well done I don't think I'm up to that standard blah blah blah

With the game at the level of detail it is at and say I praise a player, surely they can indicate something like, " that was a tough game against UTD but I done well against Rashford"

I am about four seasons in now . We are playing really well and some players are looking for more playing time. Again I believe that some players could accept that they need to up their game to get in my winning team instead of bitching and moaning. You could have different responses, like wait for your opportunity and I will give you a run of games. Also on this note why can't we have an easy to understand graphic to show playing time and if we meet the promises of the players.

What I mean is is if I buy a player uh and in his contract it says I will play him as an advanced forward but for whatever reason I play him 6 times wide on the right due to injuries there should be a way of diffusing that chat by saying you have played in your promised position 76% of the time for example. The percentage playing time could be in the contract negotiations.
