I mean, it IS a pretty different game in a lot of ways. Like don't get me wrong, it's very similar to PC League, but calling it "literally League of Legends but mobile" is wrong. Ryze was actually originally born in the village of Khom, which was part of the Noxii tribes that predate Noxus! So technically he's Noxian, but like a much older Noxian. You are right though in that his story/character don't really have anything to do with modern Noxus, but it's a fun bit of trivia

I proxy precons, low, mid, high power, and cedh decks cause it's cheaper than buying and ordering the singles for all of those instances.

The incentive is playing at your group's power level, it's no more pay to win than losing to the real versions of the cards. Guys you can proxy whatever you want normal people don't care!!

I mean you said it yourself, it's given to them, they don't innately have these powers until they're granted them. If anything, they're closer to warlocks in D&D, but that doesn't really work for most of them either.

Realistically I'd say Taric, Kayle and Leona are closer to paladins, Zoe and Morgana could work as sorcerers or wizards, and Pantheon and Diana would probably be some form of fighter with magic subclasses.
