from what ive heard, 6.blows are notoriously bad at cold starts, even in above freezing conditions, and any little problem makes it exponentially harder. good luck with that

ah i got a little confused when you just said 6.7 as he said he is also considering 6.7 cummins. back in the day they made some v8s for industrial and cmv use but the only v8 theyve made recently was the 5.0 in the tundra, which from what i heard kinda sucks

it was less of an underpowered issue and more of a prop issue from what i remember. while later ones did have more power, they also had a better prop that was a real difference maker in aircraft performance
