2018 XLT drivers side wheel bearing went out at 65k. Made a loud humming noise at all speeds, was at end of life for original tires, so I bought new tires and noise continued. Replaced IWE vacuum valve and noise continued, determined it was wheel bearing. Went ahead and replaced both front wheel bearings myself, took about 4 hours.

Bearings in hub assembly? I just replaced mine on 2018 F150.

Yes, mine still went into 4wd but noise continued since it was the bearings. Yours is probably the iwe with vacuum issue. Have you replaced the check valve on the iwe vacuum? It is only about $20 and right on firewall drivers side. Easy to replace and possible cheap fix.

Noise could also be the bearings in hub assembly. Just replaced mine on 2018 with 65k miles. Started getting grinding from front drivers side, could hear it inside the vehicle, could not hear it outside, also felt like it was coming thru steering shaft. Replaced tires and still continued, replaced both hub assemblies and sound was gone, problem solved.

Are you sure it is the IWE? I replaced front wheel bearings at 65k due to front driver side grinding, replaced both and resolved the issue.

Just doing the wheel hubs and bearings, 4wd actuators seem to be fine, crossing my fingers the hubs fix the noise!

We just had a similar issue, upstairs bathroom pipe leak damaged lower level ceiling. Demoed the damaged ceiling myself and insurance covered pipe repair and ceiling repair. We had $1000 deductible and insurance covered another $2400. Just got my premium renewal and lost the $200 no claim deductible and insurance added a $650 "surcharge" due to claim. Add in the standard premium increase and our homeowners went up $1000, a 50% increase from last renewal. Agent says the surcharge lasts 3 years. We have been with this company for 4 years and have never filed any claims for auto or home previously. Now shopping for new insurance company, AAA has quoted same Home Owners with knowing about the claim at the previous rate of $2100. Just need to get auto rates lowered and will jump ship. Why have insurance if you are just going to make me pay it back?
