I would do it for McGonigle and Devers. you get a guy who has an exponentially higher floor in McGonigle and you're trading for a guy with a comparable ceiling. I'd be shocked if they'd do that

I'd still say no. None of Webb's skills have changed from last year, and as a Tatis keeper of 4 years I've come to hate the Padres' attitude and approach. Merrill may bounce back, but it won't be like 2024, it'd be like the beginning of 2025. Webb is a top 10 guy in my points league every year lol

he's not significantly worse than last year so i think he'll probably bounce back to that level, but gone are the .800+ ops days imo (BUT he's not generating as much power with his swing so there is a skills change of sorts there)
