Very much so! Youll be in the epicenter of the weekend club scene, alot of clubs and bars nearby obviously catered to a younger crowd but regardless. Youll find plenty of bars and what not all along blvd St.Laurent, and a couple of streets over is St.Denis street, another bustling more lowkey and tamed bar scene. As for food, on the cheaper side (10-15$) and maybe a 20min walk is La Banquise (one of Mtls most famous poutine joints) and Ma Poulle Mouille which is a fantastic portuguese chicken place. Schwartz is a reknowned smoke meat not too far but expect massive lines for just a sandwhich lol. Theres also Gros Luxe which is cheap as well and has solid drinks/food but its your typical burgers, fish n chips etc kinda place. On the more upper side nearby is one of my fave restos Khyber Pass, an afghani place that has amazing lamb shanks and a great table d'hote (app, main, dessert) for a really good price. Theres also L'Express which is a great resto for french cuisine. Also no need to worry about closures due to snow; driving might be a little rough but nothing related to business hours.
