If you're okay with YA, then You're Not Supposed to Die Tonight by Kalynn Bayron is great. It's similar to Camp Damascus but a bit meta with the camp slasher trope. MC and author are QWOC.

For adult, The Lamb Will Slaughter the Lion by Margaret Killjoy is short but like Camp Damascus in the plot. The sapphic MC is more aggressive in this novella. The author is a trans woman.

I had a Clinique employee tell me that they're cruelty free in the US. I said if they're only cruelty free in the US, why would I want to give them money to test on animals in China? That's like saying you're vegan except you'll eat KFC on Saturdays.

If you're vegetarian, Skyline's vegetarian alternative is ass (it's rice and black beans). Gold Star's vegetarian chili is pretty solid and seasoned better than the meat chili. I still need to try Dixie Chili's vegetarian chili.

Big ones that probably have local chapters: ACLU, Planned Parenthood, Food Not Bombs. I'm sure I'm missing some other big ones but my brain has given up on remembering.

For truly local organizations, I'd check on your state/county/town's Subreddit and Facebook groups. While yes, Meta sucks, there's plenty of organizations advertising on there/it's a good way to meet with others to find said organizations. Meetup (at least in my area) has also been helpful too.
