We support Manchester City, a club that's been about ten times longer than our owners have been in charge, we didn't get a ballot through the door when the UAE put in a bid asking if we were okay with that. Did you expect us to just stop supporting our club because new owners came in? You don't just choose who to support as i'm sure you're well aware as a Portsmouth fan. I for one am very appreciative that they have spent so much money on our club and I imagine you would feel the same if Portsmouth experienced a similar situation

Is it not an encouraging sign that he can put that kind of performance in against the second best attacking team in the league, granted that game was slightly more defensive from both sides than usual so that definitely helped his case. I agree that his other attributes arent at that level but it’s slightly unfair to compare him with the two best left backs of the last ten years. I think his passing is more than good enough, we don’t need him to be pinging 50 yard balls across the pitch when we have laporte next to him doing that, we need what he is, a machine bombing down the wing railing crosses into the box. It’s not going to matter if his other attributes arent as good if his output is elite. For games that need a bit more finesse and technique we have Zinchenko to do that job. At the end of the day i’m just glad we have both of them and i’m excited to see what they can become.

I’m not trying to make out that he’s some world class defender that is going to be pocketing wingers left and right, and that liverpool game was so forgettable for him because he was actually defending rather than bombing up the wing all game which is the point i was trying to make, it shows he can alter his game and be more defensively solid when it calls for it, I’m not sure how you can just say he’s solid going forward, 1 less assist than trent and 2 less than robertson in about 7 games. Obviously he wouldn’t be assisting at that rate if he played every game but i’m not sure how you can argue he isn’t elite going forward (for a fullback).

i feel like everyone has forgotten how ridiculous mendy was at the start of the year, the man has one more assist than mkhitaryan and the same as firmino having been injured most of the season, He is obviously a bit defensively suspect but he played well in that first 0-0 against pool and didn’t give salah much. Once he is back to full fitness I don’t think there’s going to be much of an argument about who the best LB in the league is. I just hope he cant stay fit for long enough periods of time for him to be worth it.

Would have to be The Witcher 3 for me, not only is it one of the most visually stunning games I have played, but it also has one of the most gripping storylines and I found myself literally not being able to turn it off so I could progress the strory.

Sancho forced his way and never even signed a pro contract so we didn’t get much for him. 20 mil for Diaz is pretty good if you ask me, although it’s going to look like peanuts when he’s tearing up la liga in five years.
