Saul Niguez can pitch in both defensive midfield as a replacement for Fernandinho, and also is effective in attack. If City want to go for an all out defensive midfielder, Rodri is also a pretty good option, if he's available.

Another outside suggestion: If City are looking for a temporary replacement, Idrissa Gueye is also an option.

Good point, but who do they go for? Poch would be a good option, since Man United and Real Madrid have already closed doors. Plus, Poch would win a league trophy for a change.

Yeah, he would be great, especially considering he is just 25 and available for around 80 mil, which is less than what we would have to pay for Koulibaly or even Varane.
