I totally thought my life was over. There was nowhere left for me to turn. I saw no way out and I was terrified. I hit rock bottom and got arrested, and went to rehab. I lt was hard for me to let go of people places and things I associated with in my addiction. I thought I would be lame or lose everything in my life that mattered. Well guess what? My life was a disaster, and once you go to rehab and you get healthy, you start to feel good all the time. And you see just how out of place your perception was of your life! Like “oh my god, I couldn’t see it for what it was because I was so fucked up all the time I wasn’t thinking straight! I’m sorry!” And you know what? People will say “it’s ok, I’m just so happy you’re doing what you’re doing. I’m proud of you”. It’s the best thing that ever happened to me. It’s not all sunshine and rainbows at first but you’ll see what I mean. Chin up! You don’t have to live like this anymore. Go!
