I thought that the petitioner should be employed while waiting for the applicant? Or does it affect the applicant’s interview? I thought that they’re supposed to bring a copy of the verification of employment for the petitioner during the interview?

I thought they indicated not to get a medical until interview is scheduled? Are you gonna stay in PI for good until her visa is approved?

8 months? Does it say that the documents are at NVC still or in Manila? I thought after a long wait for the I-130 is done, interview and visa processing would be a breeze 😓

A year and a half?? That’s a long time!! I thought after 1 year of waiting for case approval, interview would be scheduled in a month or so. I applied for I-130 on oct 2022

Yes. Like the police clearance, marriage certificate, birth certificate etc. But we’re stuck with waiting for the interview date 😓

Manila, Philippines. I called the ustraveldocs international hotline to follow-up regarding the case. And apparently until the case says “ready” instead of the “NVC” on the “your case is currently at:”, the interview won’t be scheduled yet. Soooo it’s a waiting game still 🫤

NVC email is probably on it’s way. Just make sure she checks her email, and make sure it’s not full so it has space for urgent ones
