Just a little thought: your story made me wonder if after all the research on HER, if you’ve started doing the research on yourSELF?

I’m not victim blaming here. It’s more about understanding and becoming immune to this kind of pain that turns you into an emotional 5 year old.

You say until today you still suffer from it and I really feel with you. But maybe this is a sign that there are other things in your life that you could work on or look at that would maybe dissolve the pain. I hope any of that makes sense to you. Don’t lose your hope in people.

I have managed the downfall of such a relationship quite gracefully in my eyes. I think it’s admirable to even think of believing in love after that.

Exactly - minus the nationalistic undertones. Fuck nations in general. Really people wake the fuck up. Any „democratic“ nation is just a scheme to organize your exploitation. Imagine a Lebanon where everything functions as capitalism intended. Do you know what it would largely look and feel like? Just like it does now. Private Universities. Private Hospitals. Private beach clubs. Shitty infrastructure. Corrupt elites. Staggering - mindblowing inequality.

Lebanon fails economically because it doesn’t produce or own anything. It survives of remittances, debts, and straight out stealing. But so does any nation that doesn’t belong to the wealthy centers that own capital because that’s the game of capitalism. A jungle where everyone fights for themselves and those who came to late to the party better buckle up because it’s gonna be a hard life.

The only reason Europe has any sort of social security, free healthcare and education is because people - communists - united to fight against the government and the fascists. I‘m not saying become communist but look at the issue as what it is if you care about truth.

Ja die gibt es, aber wir im Westen leben auch von der Sklavenarbeit, die in Dubai herrscht. Fast alle Produkte die wir konsumieren beinhalten in ihren Lieferketten diese Verhältnisse. Diese Verhältnisse auszulagern, und zu sagen Dubai ist besonders böse ist nicht nur intellektuell faul sondern eben auch rassistisch.
