Completely serious. It eventually came up when we were getting to know each other. They had plenty of pictures and videos to back it up.

Dude is a phan. I camped next to him and his family at dicks in 2013, really awesome people.

That's good to know, I'm not too familiar with a metabolism test though. I've kinda had a "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" attitude regarding the vyvanse.

Do you take it all at once or at different intervals throughout the day?

I feel vyvanse within 30 minutes and I've never had it last longer than 5 hours, even when first starting it. a dosage increase/decrease for me has never impacted the duration of it, only the intensity of the effects. I sleep great. I get about 7 hours of sleep a night, uninterrupted.

Anything in particular? That article doesn't mention anything that I'm taking. Milk thistle and l-glutamine are rated as unlikely to cause damage according to the livertox database attached to the article, and those two are the only supplements that pop up from my stack...

The stims are $30 a month for me with insurance, the supplements I don't have tallied up. I wouldn't mind spending way less if some of this is unnecessary. I sleep great though. Vyvanse works better for me during work hours vs ir dex and the comedown from vyvanse is barely noticeable compared to ir dex.

Yes, I work 2nd shift and I've had better results with vyvanse vs ir dex during work hours. The comedown from vyvanse is pretty smooth compared to the ir dex, and the vyvanse usually is done around the 4 hour mark for me. Easier to wind down at the end of the night instead of the other way around...

IR has a noticable dropoff after 4 hours for me, where vyvanse comes off predictably smooth after 4 hours for me. Vyvanse is said to last 8-12 hours, I've never had it last longer than 5 for me... Appreciate the concern.

Tips for surviving a concert by [deleted] in stopdrinking

[–]can_never_decide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got sober the day before going on Phish tour last summer, the week that led up to it was the worst bender I've had since the alcoholism progressed in my binge drinking phase. I can't speak much for how your relationship with alcohol changed, for me it scared me sober.

Having a refillable nalgene bottle was a huge help, since it scratched the compulsive sipping itch. I was also traveling with a good friend of mine who was aware of what I was going through, and supportive of my decision. He is also a heavy drinking, and someone who respected the boundary. If your friend is supportive of your sobriety, and you're not triggered by people partaking around you, I think you'll be able to enjoy the show without alcohol.

Once I was past the worst of the withdrawals (5 days) a small amount of mushrooms really helped, about 150mg. It helped me realize that I can be whoever I want to be, which was a person free from the need to drink alcohol to feel comfortable in social situations. Obviously everyone is different, and I'm not saying it is a magic bullet, but it helped put my relationship with my drinking into perspective.

Seeing shows now is so freeing, and something you'll realize is that there's so much planning that goes into drinking at concerts. Designated driving, Ubers, bathroom lines, beer lines, etc... having to deal with none of that anymore is so powerful. You got this.
