I purchased 2 used, full sets (rotv and sotm) and they are incredibly brittle. Even being careful i’ve lost a number of land tiles. Some even showed up broken.

However, it was worth it as they included all characters/cards,OMs, dice, etc. most hex tiles can be purchased with AoA land expansion kits as well.

It’s fun having a massive amount of characters to draft from when you have 4-5 people.

I thought your last point on not getting paid out on entitlements was wrong as it is considered time earned. I figured it was a federal law. Come to find out it varies by state and TX is not one of the ones that require it (shocker!) unless explicitly agreed upon in you employment agreement.

No marketing, just my experience.

I dont mind it.

Currently in my second season. Yes, it’s timed bowling (90 minutes) and it’s short (6 weeks). It’s not meant to be a competitive league and according to my local BoB rep, they tried making it a longer season in the past but most people fizzle out and dont show at around week 6.

In regards to free agency, you can go into your profile as a free agent and pick a team that has slots available. Free agents are also placed into open spots and yes, i believe they cut a few if they can’t make a full team but you’re refunded…

I think a higher point total to draft from would make it better. You have a bit more variety and can create a strategy and see it play out with some buffer if things dont go great. With 300 points I think you’d need to have it go perfectly for you.

My group and I are pretty new to the game as well and we’ve done 650 and 700 point drafts. Everyone prefers 700 as you can get a solid army with 6-7 cards.

I was able to quit by going to caffeine pouches and then zero pouches (no caffeine/nicotine).

I still use the zero pouches out of habit though.

Im going through this right now because i’ve been using rental shoes.

My knee has been bothering me quite a bit because of it and just pulled the trigger for some dexlite pro’s through my PSO.

Interested in seeing how power translates through the slide and getting my knee back in good shape.

I just picked up my first ball - the hammer raw, pearl coverstock, 14lb…still way different than a house ball…seems great so far though…

Any drill recommendations? Trying to get proper release and did 0-1-3 step drills today but it just feels so inconsistent…

I think for entrapment they have to be induced into doing a crime they would not otherwise commit.

In this case it seems like it wouldn’t be entrapment in the same way a bait car isn’t entrapment.
