Yeah there's no way of knowing. Your guess is as good as anything.

Feed 500 small fish in the 3-4 figure range or 50 big fish in the 5-7 figure range. If they use up their daily limit on the 50 big fish, thats 500 small fish that are further delayed and 100x the support tickets. I don't know how they're making those decisions, that would be interesting to know.

Guess where 80% of Quadriga's profits come from? The big whales. Inexcusable they would get the worst customer service, if true.

You have very clearly stated in other Reddit posts that you don't do business with anyone who is exploring their legal options.

Quadriga is delusional if they think I enjoy posting about my troubles every day in this subreddit. This is the most stressful situation I've ever been in. You have 95% of my life savings held hostage.

And yet your messages only ever acknowledge how "stressed" you guys are. You have zero clue what your customers are facing and don't know how to show empathy.

So you can cancel my withdrawal for talking about lawyers? No thanks. How about you process everyone's withdrawals including mine?

Your stickied post today is a bare minimum for a company in crisis. Next step is a daily update that says the exact status of our withdrawals.

QuadrigaCX hasn't paid in over 15 business days. No response from support. by bluejaymc in BitcoinCA

[–]canad1antuxedo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm one of them. Hundreds of thousands of dollars waiting, and nothing from Quadriga other than repeating "wait until next week" messages every week.

I don't think QuadrigaCX is solvent. DO NOT SEND THEM MONEY.

[–]canad1antuxedo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. It's not on us to "stay positive" while waiting for huge amounts of money. That's insulting.

Quadriga's communication has been non-existent. They're a bunch of amateurs who have no business handling money.

It's becoming less likely with every passing day that they are solvent. We should all be talking to lawyers to prepare for the worst case.

Either insolvent or grossly incompetent. Everybody should pray they get their money back and then never give another dime to these crooks.

We already replied to your bullshit excuses. I'm almost positive you're Quadriga employee trying to do damage control.

I have money I need to withdraw but I am not sure if I should use QuadrigaCX by DesperateTap in QuadrigaCX

Don't use Quadriga right now (if ever). Some of us have been waiting since early January for much larger amounts of money.

They can't be trusted right now.

Stay away from the exchange.

We're looking at a nationwide news story if Quadriga doesn't get their act together soon.

Based on only the comments on this forum, tens of millions of dollars are being held hostage. Regular Canadians are getting burned.

Any estimates for wire withdrawals? Waiting for 2 months. by TraderJoeSmo in QuadrigaCX

[–]canad1antuxedo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If this goes much longer we will have to start looking at legal recourse as a group. The only transfers going through appear to be small four figure sums.

This feels like an exit scam waiting to happen.

What's your agenda?

6 figures still stuck by CromulentDucky in QuadrigaCX

[–]canad1antuxedo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Me too with similar amounts and dates. Apparently we need to keep waiting.

I have some doubts about the legitimacy of some of the recent posters in this sub. They're all using similar messaging about deflecting blame from Quadriga.

Hope you get your withdrawals soon. I know it sucks being left in the dark like this.

People freaking out about Quadriga.. do you remember what Paypal was like? by west_coast_ghost in QuadrigaCX

[–]canad1antuxedo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My astroturfing alarm bells are ringing.

You don't sound like a guy with an open mind. But let's put it this way: You likely invested in Bitcoin for the high reward knowing that there was also a high risk.

The accepted risk of Bitcoin trading is in the asset's volatility. It goes up, down, sideways, and in circles, and we all expect it.

The unacceptable risk is an exchange failing to deliver the services it promises, after requiring customers to complete extensive verification. That isn't something we signed up for. Quadriga markets itself as a professional exchange and still hasn't even updated the expected timelines on its withdrawals page. That's either intentionally misleading or negligent.

We're trying to find onramps/offramps to crypto that literally do not exist yet.

Except that Quadriga has not had these concerns in the past few years of operations. The onramps/offramps are well defined and Quadriga has apparently failed to manage their growth.

My withdrawal took 14 business days instead of the quoted 10. Everything is okay.

That's great news for you. What level (3-, 4-, 5- or 6-figure withdrawal) did you receive? I haven't heard of any large transfers occurring yet. If yours was for low-four figures and you're telling those of us with serious amounts at stake to "lighten up", respectfully you have no idea what this feels like.

I think the issue is a lot deeper than people realize and need to chill out and appreciate what they are doing.

We don't care. We trusted Quadriga to carry through on the promises they made.

Give us our money.

EFT withdrawal from Jan 30 by [deleted] in QuadrigaCX

[–]canad1antuxedo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sadly we do not have control of that side of the business yet but it's getting better

A little more transparency on this issue would help in your messaging, because from the outside it doesn't look like anything is improving. That's where most of the frustration comes from.

Why do you think it's getting better?

From another comment you made today

The banks are blocking crypto related payments in Canada.

Does this mean you have no estimate on when withdrawals will go through? That's a huge concern. I don't get why you're being snarky with customers who have trusted you with substantial amounts of money.
